A simple poll

Okay, it is time to take the  BTB's members pulse. This is a simple yes or no poll to get a feel for where your collective heads are at this point. Since everyone has already formed an opinion of this years' model of the Cowboys, the process should be short and sweet. Simply put; Do the Cowboys have the right stuff to make it into the playoffs? Or are the next three games the nails in the coffin of the 2009 season?

I'm going to go ahead and say yes

And not just because I’m attempting to pump sunshine and what have you. We’ve got an extremely talented team that has a bad habit of under achieving. All that needs to happen to turn this thing around is for someone or something to light a fire under their asses. Losing two games in a row to teams they could have beaten might be just what the doctor ordered.

They’re still in position to achieve all the goals they set for themselves at the beginning of the season. They’re still talented enough to achieve those goals. Some guys look extremely focused and ready to go. Anybody else remember Romo playing this well in previous Decembers? He’s getting into a groove with his receivers. Witten’s finally playing up to his standard. Romo-to-Roy is clicking. Austin is playing at a Pro Bowl level. The defense didn’t look spectacular, but if you consider they just held the Chargers to their lowest point total of the season, maybe things aren’t quite so bad on that front.

The O-line concerns me a great deal, but we have a QB and possibly a stable of RBs that are talented enough to succeed despite them. Nick Folk is another concern. That one I can’t even imagine a solution for. Same goes for special teams in general. Despite our handful of weaknesses, I think we have a team that can overcome them. I’m still optimistic, regardless of our record after this match up vs. the Saints.

Epic Fail since 1985

I'm saying yes

If the season ended today we would be in. We are not the Giants hoping for help. Right now we are in. If we get bumped its our doing. Plain and simple. I believe in our team every year, no mater how bad it starts to look.

same here

The Knights season may have just ended, but the Cowboys year is just begining!

Holy crap Batman!

60% think yes?

I hope you’re right. I thought it’d be about 30% yes/v70% no.

I mean, NO, Philly, and a tough Washington team on the road? As i said to someone earlier who put
“Worst Case Scenario” as 9-7, actually, 8-8 won’t even shock me.

I predict 9-7 and we watch the Giants sneak in.

It's called faith Larry, and it doesn't mean you're not a realist either

The fans who voted yes know there is a chance we won’t make the playoffs, but as a fan, you still gotta believe we have what it takes to win and get in.

In Romo we Trust

I believe-at a 30% level.

Would I put $ down on the Cowboys getting in? No way-I’ll be surprised if they do.

Actually, their best chance is the Giants sucking even more and letting them in at 9-7, or, believe it or not, 8-8!
It could happen.

I say we wind up 10-6

we ar going to win two more games. Plain and simple. And if we can only win two games I’d rather us drop this one personally

by Mac_24 on Dec 17, 2009 7:26 PM CST reply actions

10-6

Probably lose to NO, then 2 must wins vs WAS & PHI. Plus NYG have to lose one of the last 3. Then at least they get into post season. At this point I’ll settle for a playoff win.

Both NO and MIN look very stout with home field advantage.

You can't stop Patrick Crayton, you can only hope to contain him.

NY have to lose or Philly have to lose one of their next two

The Knights season may have just ended, but the Cowboys year is just begining!

they both will lose one more game.

Eagles hopefully lose one b4 us, and giv us a chance a the Division
