I've Gained a Lot of Respect for Tony Romo

Even if Dallas magically blows this 21 point lead as I type this I have gained a ton of respect for Tony Romo tonight. Sure the Cowboys could easily stoop to their opponent's level and lose to Washington but tonight the defense and ESPECIALLY Tony Romo have been sensational.

I applaud him for stepping up in the clutch and now consider him an elite NFL QB. He needs one more hurdle to clear and that is to actually win a playoff game.

I'm on here a lot and made comments about Romo in the past both great and awful but this has been a special performance by a talented QB.

Oh and when do the Cowboys cut Flozell? Man is a train wreck to watch.

Good luck the rest of the season.

I like Romo

He just made so many stupid mistakes in the past that put his team in tough situations.

But tonight he’s been phenomenal in spite of your miserable OL named Flozell.

His receivers not named Austin aren't helping him.

Roy Williams has overstayed his welcome.

Yeah.

Roy, Flo, and Folk are not guys to count on when the chips are down. Fortunately, they’re in the minority, but we made need them to help win.

Stinkin’ starters.

I saw a dog today. Have you seen a dog? You probably have. How was school? Was it fun? Did you get a lot of homework? Huh? Do you have any friends? Do you have a best friend? Does he have a big coat, too?

Not Romo

Folk made it so that what would have been recognized as a clutch drive for Romo will probably be forgotten.

Great point AC

In terms of importance he was exceptional.

He can light up Tampa Bay that’s cool but this was great.

I've always told everyone

it’s a maturation process and Romo is finally maturing as a qb, the best is yet to come!

AGREED!!!

Romo is only 29. Peyton is 33. Best years are yet to come!

Romo has been a stud tonight

and so has Ware. But how about a shout out for Spencer? Great game tonight.

Austin is the truth, Roy W. is a good player with no nuts and Phillips may be a better tight end then Bennett.

What a game, GO COWBOYS!!!!!

This has been Romo's best season

By far! I’m amazed at how well he’s been protecting the ball all season.

2009 Dallas Cowboys: 10-6
2009 New York Jets: not 11-5 :(
2009-2010 Dallas Mavericks: 57-25

Romo had a huge game

He threw for over 300 yards and used his legs and brains to pick up at least 2 more. This may be Romo’s greatest game when you consider all the elements.

Seriously?

4 games and no picks for Romo? Suhweet.
