Around SBN: Jeremy Lin's Game-Winner Was Incredible, Worth Remembering

WELL... WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO SAY NOW??

It will be very interesting to see what all the haters have to say now. Us optimists have been begging for this game for what seems like an eternity. Romo played brilliantly, Demarcus Ware has shown that he truly is a Warewolf, because human beings don't recover that quickly to have THAT monster of a performance. That was a career defining performance for a player that had 20 sacks last year. Miles Austin played big, we overcame some bad plays... did I mention how awesome Romo was?

Romo has now played TREMENDOUS football over an extended period of time. What o what is Tex going to say now?

Optimists, stand up. Terry, One.Cool, Rafeal, all the other noted glass half full folks.. raise it up. Cheers to the my squad. How 'bout them Cowboys!!!

Now that I had a chance to catch my breath a little

I also need to point out that our star players really shined today. Ware, Spencer, Ratliff, Jenkins, Brooking on defense. Romo, Austin, Barber, Felix on offense.. Witten had an off game but I can live with that—

this just made my day of being snowed in WELL worth it… cabin fever is GONE

Coach Winters: Mississippi State's offensive set. 2nd & 2 on our own 24, what defensive set might we call?
Alvin Mack: Eagle Zipper Hero, unless the setback shifts into the I.
Coach Winters: Good..[clicks to next slide], third and seven?
Alvin Mack: Oakie Thunder Lion. {What's your assignment?}
Alvin Mack: Kill the quarterback. {{Coach Winters clicks to next slide}}
Alvin Mack: Hit the tight end so hard his girlfriend dies. {{Coach Winters clicks to next slide}}
Alvin Mack: Kill everybody.

if the giants lose, our magic number is 1

I am excited, surprised, and I am eating crow but,

I still think we have a long way to go. Romo, Austin, Witten, Ware and many others played great but, it seems we came out strong and then lost steam somewhere through the middle. I think if they had turned the heat up one minute sooner we would be wondering what the hell just happened.
On the positive side GREAT EFFING GAME!! GO BOYS!!!!

just proves it's the players, not coaches

the players executed tonight, it’s as simple as that

In Romo we Trust

coaches have been good all year

when we lost, it was always on the players

False Call

That just can’t be true. Think about it. Open your eyes. There have been ups and downs but to call the coaches flawless just shows a lack of understanding.

Yawn

You haven’t won anyone over with this mindless dribble about coaches not being able to impact performance on the field.

No one thinks Romo is average

he’s definitely been very good…

and THIS December…he’s been AWESOME…

even as an Eagles fan, I can watch the game and objectively say your QB has been fantastic!

Gotta Eat Crow

Cause I been down on the team. That was amazing.

Do want to point out that despite my criticism (mostly aimed at the coaching staff) I have always been a big Romo guy.

Geez, good game. I feel great right now.

I saw a dog today. Have you seen a dog? You probably have. How was school? Was it fun? Did you get a lot of homework? Huh? Do you have any friends? Do you have a best friend? Does he have a big coat, too?

How Bout Them Cowboys

this is the consistency we must play. Now’s the right time to peak. Enjoy the win today and root for the 49ers tommorow. After that it’s back to the drawing board for a game against two hated opponents.

It's gotta be a good year for the Cowboys when you're rooting for the Niners and 'Skins.

Weird, but cool.

Feels good to have your faith rewarded

I’m happy for our guys.

I think it’s fair to point out the fans who were down on the team certainly aren’t “haters”. Prior to tonight, the last few weeks have been extremely frustrating. It’s been cause for a lot of grief.

This team still has it’s share of flaws that some have highlighted over the last couple of weeks, but it’s great to see the players many of us have put our faith in overcome those flaws.

Epic Fail since 1985
