Folk to IR? Suisham anybody?
Can't say we didn't see if coming, especially after last night's dinked chip shot, but according to pft.com; Folk has been sent to IR. I have a hard time believing that Jerry did this unless he already has somebody in mind/under contract. My money is on Suisham...or however you spell that dude's name. He's got history with Dallas, and maybe just maybe could provide a little insight into the Redskins...maybe.
UPDATE: Sorry guys, i misread the post on pft.com, as it read the Cowboys "might" send him to IR. So instead of a report, this is just an opinion of what i think should happen. My bad.
UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: per DMN.com "According to sources, Suisham is scheduled to workout as a potential replacement for Folk on Monday, and the team made more calls on other kickers, including Dave Rayner, on Sunday."

Gramatica, maybe?
He only needs to make them 40 yards and in. Buehler can kick for the crap shoots.
FREE THE OGLETREE!!!
Yeah just bring back the dropkick
The Eagles lost to the Saints (who we beat), they lost to the Raiders (who we beat) and they lost to us (who we are).

I think I like
the suggestion on another thread about maybe having CHUCK NORRIS roundhouse kick them bad boys…. Just the signing alone would certainly establish leadership in the locker room and strike fear deep in the heart of the enemy with two division games dead ahead…. just sayin
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Pass-rush specialist???
1 round house to McNugget, then Warner, than Brees or Farve, then to end it 1 round-house to Peyton…and we win a SB

The percentages would disagree with you...
If I had a nickel for every Super Bowl the Eagles have won, I would have zero nickels.

At this point in the season, folk is the worst option, he is a headcase right now.
For those of us Texas Natives (mainly astros fans) Folk has become Brad Lidge. The guy was awesome and one day he got taken deep off of Albert Pujols and he was never the same again. The guy had a mental block and couldn’t close anymore; until he went to another team and suddenly he got his mojo back. I hope that is not what is neccessary but it may take folk going to another team to get himself right.
Ignore the Mainstream Media, EMBRACE THE HATE!!!!
I endorse Terry's message
Suisham is Folk. Folk is Suisham. Sort of like Fight Club. It would just be a lateral move. I’d rather just let Buehler learn how to make field goals, since at least he has an extremely strong leg. Even if he’s bad, at least he has upside, as far as kickers go.

Folk has the most misses in the NFL...
…so, it would appear, ANY other kicker would be an upgrade. Sad, but true.
I don't know about Suisham
I don’t know about Folk either, but something has to happen. I read they were going to tryout 4/5 kickers tomorrow including the 2 mentioned above. May the best kicker win.
We need a confident kicker!

And speaking of Folk
Did anyone see his interview prior to the game? He seems to have that same attitude as Romo did after the PHL game last year. “If the worse thing that ever happens to me….”
Just like when I heard Romo say that last season….that is the last thing I want to hear.

I think this is a little more important
since Folk might be job-less soon

Didn't we cut Shawn because he had the yips, and didn't Washington cut him for missing a chip-shot potential game clincher against the Saints?
Give Buehler the shot.

Suisham was 18 of 21 this year I gather
that looks pretty good compared to Folk
That would be the three
that is still much better than Folk, even with your exaggeration.

Whatever you do, do NOT sign Haushka
Actions speak louder than black people in a movie theater......
The dude was 18-21 this year
and 5/5 from 40 – 49 yards!
Absolutely he should be the guy.
And, hmmm, would he love to stick it in the Redskins next week ????
Or have any insight to their coverages etc. on sp. teams? (a longshot, I know)

The three kicks he missed were the three most important kicks of the season.T
Two against Dallas to lose the game, and the potential game-clincher against the Saints.
I agree that Folk needed to go, and I don’t know if anyone else out there would be any better, but this does not fill me with confidence.
