Today, look for the Giants' defense to focus on stopping the run. It sounds like they may gamble by forcing Tony Romo to beat them.
"I'm very comfortable with that," Romo said. "(I) accept that responsibility every week, and I expect nothing else. I think that's what you have to do every week in the NFL, because if you don't stop the run, you're probably not going to win the football game."
Starting the month against New York is really perfect for Romo. He's won four of five regular-season starts against the Giants and has a 100-plus rating in three of the past four meetings, including last December's two-TD, no-interception outing in a 20-8 win at Texas Stadium.
In two starts at the Meadowlands, Romo has passed for 504 yards and four TDs. Dallas won both times.

I hope so. Quick hitters from Romo, and Witten and Crayton will kill them over the short middle.
No outside help means RW may have his long awaited ’breakout day. Austin can get open deep all over the field. Bring 8 NY, and pay with 7 after 7. I look for those sad eyes of Coughlin to be even sadder at games end.

Two or three early first down runs, and the 8 will be history. A series or two of run stops by NY
and it will become Romo’s game to win. I think, however, we will mix run and pass and have several good drives for scores. Howabout ‘NO’ OL penalties today guys.

Aaron Ross. Didn't we have guys pining over Ross a couple of years ago before the draft. Now he starts only
through injury. First or second rounder I think.

An 8 man in the box strategy makes no sense to me for NY
Our strength is our passing game and quick-strike capability. An eight man front plays into our hands. Laying back with a deep-cover two forces us to be patience and drive the length of the field with runs and short to intermediate passing. That normally means 8-10 play drives which we suck at given the ‘stupid’ penalties we inevitably make. I look for just that, a ‘soft’ defense that encourages running the ball and force us into mistakes. Patience is what will win this game today not big plays. Hey maybe we catch a break and Osi plays on 1st and 2nd downs!
Sounds good to me :)
