1sssttttt again

I need about 150 yards and 2 TD from Rice and 2 TD from mason for my FF League…..It would aslo help for a baltmiroe win.

by ManTab on Dec 7, 2009 7:18 PM CST reply actions

Go Ravens!

We may end up fighting for a wildcard spot with the Packers, and they already have the tiebreaker on us.

(I need 42 points out of Rice to win in my PPR league, so that’s already a lost cause lol…)

by scottmaui on Dec 7, 2009 7:35 PM CST reply actions

Don't lose faith!

42 points sounds good to me :)

Former Cowboys scout Bryan Broadus said on GAC

that Cowboys fans should be really happy with the play of Doug Free.

I thought that was interesting. I wonder if he could play LT. I guess we may find out of Flo gets suspended.

No it was on the radio

and keep in mind that was his preliminary assessment. He does a much more thorough review of the tape tomorrow.

dcfanatic.com usually has his gac interviews up

i love and respect his analysis, none of the drama or hype, just a realistic fact/stat-based review of cowboys football.

just read wades comments, calling the team "a bunch of winners" explaining the team

is 8-4. More coddling of a team that lost focus and didn’t play up to potential………..bring on Shanahan

I shudder at the thought of recycling another old coach.

I saw a dog today. Have you seen a dog? You probably have. How was school? Was it fun? Did you get a lot of homework? Huh? Do you have any friends? Do you have a best friend? Does he have a big coat, too?

I think it will be Garrett.

yeah definitely

as for juniors OT’s Bruce Campbell and Brian Bulaga and center Maurkice Pouncey are good prospects.

if there was a time for a junior center like Pouncey to come out early this is the time. There are not a lot of elite centers in this year’s draft, although there is a fair amount of good tackle prospects.

Deja vu for so many reasons

I don’t mean to get ahead of myself, but honestly…should Dallas defy the odds and finish out 4-0, the chances of a Green Bay rematch look very possibility.

That scares me. A lot. Green Bay is playing good ball against a Ravens squad with playoff hopes as well.

I know right now, us and the team should only worry about the present, which is San Diego, and I don’t like the idea of letting one early-month loss define the rest of the season, but this loss is going to linger until Dallas pulls off the next win. The good thing is, three of the next four opponents have playoffs on the line, and one of those three already wrapped up a spot.

Come on Dallas, this is the prime time to help get that monkey off your back. Talk is cheap!

by bfg1118 on Dec 7, 2009 9:03 PM CST reply actions

Dallas finishing 4-0??????

against NO, San Diego, Wash and Philly?????….Dude, I dont make much promises, but if we win those 4, I promise you, we’ll win the superbowl. However, I’m expecting 1-3 or 2-2 hopefully to finish the season. 0-4 would not surprise me at all.

by ManTab on Dec 7, 2009 9:05 PM CST up reply actions

Realistically, I'd say 2-2 as well...

But the question is, which two? lol

If this were October, it might be a different story, but a loss like this is just bad for the team. I’m crossing my fingers that it doesn’t get them into a slump, but the big talk even in the final days of November was “December’s coming…you know what that means!”

Shouldn’t stick a fork in them by any means, but Dallas really shot themselves in the foot here.

by bfg1118 on Dec 7, 2009 9:16 PM CST up reply actions

If they beat SD this week

there’s no reason to think they can’t win 3. An upset of NO is clearly not impossible and Philly and Wash will both be close, winnable games.

Here’s the thing about our loss Sunday: there are a lot of positives to take from it. I think we’re all pretty confident big D will get the ST rollin again. As for the defense, it could easily turn out that the Giants just have our number in the passing game. They have been solid all year and when you look at the numbers, they only had like 11 completions didn’t they?

The thing that worried me the most was when Clarence Hill asked Wade how you avoid making the correlation between it being December and the defense giving up plays it hasn’t all year. Wade’s answer: none. He clearly didn’t understand the question. It was sadly comical. He fumbled around and restated what he had just said. I could picture everyone squinting and kind of looking around confused. Wade seems really slow and absent minded at times.

this game is gonna hurt us

GB is killing baltimore right now. If they pull this out, theres a good chance they get to 10 wins, which is bad for us.

They're gonna do a segment on short missed FG kicks and no mention of the Cowboys?

Suisam has missed 3 and cost them 2 games

and they’re holding K tryouts.

Folk has missed 8…

by scottmaui on Dec 7, 2009 9:26 PM CST up reply actions

Yeah, but missing short kicks has become such an issue that they did that bit on them at halftime.

The Jags guy, some other guy, and Sweesham. At least there’s a bug in the air and it’s not just Folk.

Can't they come up with non-Cowboys polls? Buttholes.

And miss the opportunity to get their Cowboy bashing on?

Not a chance! Their bias and hype machine shows too much for me to consider them as “credible”. MNF is probably the only thing I check out.

by bfg1118 on Dec 7, 2009 9:29 PM CST up reply actions

Didn't TJ and Carter both pick Dallas to win the division?

but it was keyshawn that crushed the Cowboys and may have even predicted they miss the playoffs

Looks like the ravens will lose and GB will get it done tonight

with the Minn, Zona, and NO well out in front of their divisions, there is the NFCE div winner and 2 WC spots open.

that is 3 spots w/4 teams vying for them: GB, Dal, Philly, NYG.

December just got alot more interesting.

Mason missed an important FG

I wonder if Packer fans will be calling for his benching now…thats what cowboys fans would do.

what are you talking about?

Folk has missed 8, Crosby has missed 7

In Romo we Trust

by Terry on Dec 7, 2009 10:26 PM CST up reply actions

the key is

That GB didn’t draft a kickoff specialist, cause crosby already has a huge leg. So your argument holds no water, once again.

by TONYINCC on Dec 7, 2009 10:33 PM CST via mobile up reply actions

check their scouting

Reports terry, mason had the bigger leg coming out of college, and was widely considered the best kicker in that draft, folk WAS apparently more consistent.

I don’t mind sticking with folk, but he is missing more consistently, and if giving buehler a try to wake folk up is necessary then by all means…. And don’t give me this buehler is hurt crap, if he was THAT hurt he wouldn’t be kicking off.

by TONYINCC on Dec 7, 2009 10:41 PM CST via mobile up reply actions

I never said he was hurt

I said he wasn’t as good as Folk. I don’t care what the reports say, I know what I see, Folk can kick it as far as Crosby.

Fact is McBriar isn’t putting the ball down right, he’s the one that needs benched as a holder.

Packers are getting calls at will

this is pretty ridiculous. tons of late calls with referees guessing. I feel like home field has been a huge advantage this game.

by foyesboys on Dec 7, 2009 10:22 PM CST reply actions

That call against Mason...

was deplorable! That changed the momentum and looks like the Ravens won’t get it back. Criminal!

by TheCowboyFan on Dec 7, 2009 10:47 PM CST up reply actions

now lets just hope flo

Doesn’t get suspended, cause I really don’t want to see mcquistan, or any other back up lineman

not true

A HUGE task

Forget about winning and losing; forget about pride and pain. by LucyFur3d on Dec 7, 2009 11:18 PM CST via mobile up reply actions

problem is

we only have 1 win against a team with a winning record (eagles). 3 of our 4 remaining games are against teams with winning records, and the one team with a losing record (skins) we barely beat, and they are improving thier offensive production lately…. we are not in a good spot – the boys HAVE to get thier stuff together in a BIG way, and fast

terry doesn't live in reality he thinks we will win everygame no matter who we line up

He’s not objective. Most of us can see that we aren’t going to win 3 of 4 and probably won’t win 2 of 4.

by just4fun on Dec 7, 2009 11:51 PM CST up reply actions

winning 3 out of 4 is definitely a possibility

and you can’t give me one good reason why it isn’t.

I would appeal it so he can play against the chargers and let him miss the saints game..just my opinion

meh

it’s football. that kind of thing happens all the time… it’s just cuz it’s flo and the cowboys that it becomes controversy. let’s look at what it really is, all he did was push the guy. guys look for those little shots all the time. if it was anyone else this would be a non-issue.
