The second part of "Drafting Safeties" brings up the hypothetical situations of what would be the best course of action for the Cowboys to take. Rashad Johnson to me seems to be more of a Free safety (That's good, we need one!) While Otis Wiley (any relation to Marcellus?) clearly projects in the pro's as a SS. Darcel McBath projects as a FS, And Rashard Langford a SS. Part of me wants to go the route of "let's pick the best player possible", but we don't know what that is just yet right now, while the other part of me wants to take the "war of attrition" perspective, meaning draft as many as possible and see which one comes out on top. I do think it is a little extreme to go the way of the latter, I believe we should draft 2 safeties- and I like McBath and Langford both. As I stated in the previous "Drafting Safeties" post, I believe we should keep that 2nd round pick for NT, and just get Ron Brace and have done with it. Dorrell Scott would be nice in a later round if Brace is picked by the time it's our turn, and that would change everything of course. I also would like to get rid of Roy Williams, NOT move Anthony Henry to free Safety, and Get Gibril Wilson and see where we go from there.
