Reeves situation dissipates?
George Dunham, KTCK morning host and the stadium voice of the Cowboys called into the Hardline a little while ago to report that Dan Reeves' supposed role with the Cowboys was no longer. Supposedly there was a disagreement about the extent of the role he was to play.
Not much info was divulged, but this is fairly early in the process. This has been one strange offseason, but in the end what have we really accomplished?

Nothing gained, nothing lost...
We really don’t know what Jerry whiffed on before we know what Dan was purported asked to do.
Doesn't matter
Proves the disfunction in the front office that they can’t even pay someone to come in and talk. That’s what a consultant does, talks.
it seems that reeves
wanted more of an executive role where jerry wanted him under the coaching staff. so it was an issue of control

Well, Jerry doesn't look like the Cryptkeeper, but he has had more facelifts than Al

The Raiders are right behind the Lions as the worst franchise in the NFL right now.
The Cowboys have been nowhere near that bad. The truth is there is some luck involved with all of this.
Look at the Steelers. They had to wait 26 years between titles. During that period of time they faded in and out of contention, never quite able to get over that hump.
0 = The number of Super Bowls the Eagles have won.
the more things change.
the more they stay the same. It sounds like Jerry despite everything really didn’t want to change and give up control. he only wants to create perception of change. things are falling apart on him and I wonder who is the next hand puppet he tries to put into that position.
Swing and a miss!
