how do you rack up that huge bill! Was he buying drinks for everyone for the entire week?

I could see a bar tab being that high
if he bought the house drinks in one night, especially vintage wine which can be very expensive.

Add in NYC prices, and that is a very high end bar, so it is easy to do.
MY wife and I went to teh St. Regis Hotel bar. She ordered a glass of wine (not a vintage wine, just the well wine) and I got a martini with, again with the well liquor. The bill came to 65 dollars.

Oh and Im sure he got his crew bottles of premier liquer and champagne served to them
At those bars/clubs (especially in NYC) they can get outrageously expensive.
This reminds me of the story about Roy (the WR)
