Mock draft before personal workouts

I didn't want too many picks and I also wanted to make sure the guys we draft have a shot of making the roster.

2nd round 51- William Moore S, Mizzou - Dynamic player who can play either Safety position, Good at coverage but can also intimidate with the big hit, returned 4 of his 11 picks for TDs

3rd round 69- Marcus Freeman ILB, OSU - Fast, Instinctive, reliable tackler, good in coverage

4th round 101- Antione Caldwell C, Bama - Smart Center that has is vercital, played C,G, and OT

4th round 117- trade down w/ oakland for pick 126 and future pick - Brandon Tate WR/RS, NC - Playmaker that could step in and return punts from day one

5th round 156- Jason Watkins OT, Florida - Development project w/ all the tools to become a LT, needs to bulk up.

5th round 166- Trade for future 4th round

5th round 172- Sammie Lee Hill NT, Stillman - Big body that will push for a backup role

6th round 197-Trade for future pick

6th round 208- Ray Feinga OG, BYU - Big strong guard

7th round 210- Trade for future pick

7th round 227- Brice McCain CB, Utah - has been timed at 4.19, helped Utah go undefeated.

nice work i like it

the only pick i am not thrilled with is jason watkins besides that its very solid..I love the 7th rd choice of Brice McCain I always liked that kid

Not bad.

Where is our pick at 197 ? Aren’t they projecting Tate much higher than126. Get Stephen McGee at 197 and I like it.

Yeah I like it

I’m just not sure Freeman will be a third rounder, the guy has had a fantastic offseason. He might be the fastest and quickest linebacker in the draft.

smoke his pro day 40? Jeez, I’d be really happy with him there, if what i heard was true about his times being the fastest of the combine on his pro day.

Everyone runs fast at OSU's

pro day..thats why Beanie’s stock hasn’t risen. They hang more on the Combine for 40 times than for OSU’s proday

I’m still learning a lot about the draft…didn’t know the surface at certain schools boosted their 40 so much!

surfaces will dictate

how fast you run the 40, the harder the surface, the faster the time.

Like the emphasis...

on offensive line. I really think this is the area where the wheels could really come off next year (and nearly did last year with Cory Procter in there)…we need some guys fighting for playing time and ready to step in in case of injuries.
