Terrell Owens Signs With Buffalo

NFL.com is reporting that recently released Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens has reached an agreement with the Buffalo Bills. The one year pact has a total worth of $6.5 million.

It will be interesting to see how Owens will interact with a very green Trent Edwards, and another top notch wideout in Lee Evans. Bills head coach Dick Jauron is heading into next season on the hot seat, and this move speaks of desperation.

At least he didn't end up in the NFC East. The Cowboys play the AFC West this season, so Terrell Owens won't get a crack at revenge until 2011 assuming he stays with Buffalo.

Wow, NFL purgatory!

A ‘cold’ day in Hell, have fun Owens.

I disagree

Most players love to play in Buffalo. The weather gets bad at the end of the year but the fans are great there. A little less media buzzing around his head might be just what TO needs. I wish him luck.

Suck for him atleast he's got a job and The Pats and Fins get to face him twice a year. Buffalo is BRUTAL. Ouchie TO bring your jacket.

TO opposite Lee Evans could be a pretty dynamic duo if their QB can get them the ball. Good luck TO

HAHA

I just remember the Bills Patriots game where both teams ran the ball 95 percent of the time since it was so windy in Buffalo… I can just picture TO in that game. I wonder who he will blame for the weather

I wonder what the Bills fans must be thinking

I’ve read plenty of comments while TO was a Cowboy about how the classy Bills organization would never have such a cancer on their team. LOL

Willis McGahee on Buffalo
Going to Buffalo, it was like hitting a brick wall. Like, ‘Damn!’ Can’t go out, can’t do nothing. There’s an Applebee’s, a TGI Friday’s, and they just got a Dave & Busters. They got that, and I’m like, ‘What the?’ And, you know, the women . . .
"You see, when I was in college that’s what I used to thrive off of . . . The better you do, the more fame you get. So you know, it was like, I was used to that. And then you get to Buffalo and no matter how you do, it’s the same. It’s no big city. You know what I did every day? I came home and played video games."

Seemed appropriate here.

Willis McGahee is a knucklehead

One guy’s opinion when it’s McGahee doesn’t really mean much. Ask Bruce Smith for his thoughts, I’m sure they’re totally opposite.

Don't blame anyone else for anything that happens to Terrell Owens.

This is a guy who had a chance to leave a mark on sports and society, but blew every chance he was given.
He was lucky to squeeze that extension from JJ, and lucky anyone even wants him now.

To sign in Buffalo, especially this quickly, means there must not have been much interest in him!

by Realist Larry on Mar 7, 2009 5:29 PM CST up reply actions   0 recs

I'm just amazed at the speed of the signing.

I would have thought he and his agent would stretch this thing out ad nauseum until we were all sick of hearing about it.

by Realist Larry on Mar 7, 2009 5:32 PM CST up reply actions   0 recs

The Speed of the signing...

has no effect on how many teams where after him. He signed with Dallas days after getting officially released from Philly. You drag it out if there is NO interest. If it was just buffalo, why not hold out till the season starts and as soon as a #1 goes down… Here he comes Johnny on the spot in great football shape and ready to work.

To me the quick signing… the low fanfare is another indication that “The Player” isn’t trying to be rah rah he just wants to get on the field and win.

Now maybe if we can trade the unnamed source to the Bills for some late round picks that would make the whole thing complete… you can’t have T.O drama without “the unnamed source”…lol

Semper Fi.

Speed of the signing had everything to do with it.....

In TO’s case it said everything……With the draft coming up, teams crunching the numbers they want players to be ready for the off season conditioning programs. In TO’s case for a 35 yr old WR it was important to get him to a team where he could gel with them, learn the offense etc., he couldn’t afford to sit around and wait for a player to be injured. Speed was everything, because the longer he was a FA the more the media would be fueling that TO is washed up and no teams have interest in him. The fact is not many teams had interest in him to beging with . He now has bad reputation on 3 teams as being a distraction. For a player 35 yrs old on the decline his distractions out weigh his productivity……

I’m sure TO will be having second thoughts on Buffalo when it’s 10 below in November and December. He won’t have to worry about Jan because they aren’t making the playoffs….

If TO

didn’t talk to Romo because of Romo decision making, I am interested to see how many games he goes without speaking to Trent E. who makes worse decisions then Romo.

Not bell to bell, but he didn’t play in everyone game either. I watched all the games because I had Marshawn Lynch in two fantasy leagues..

Are you telling me a guy can basically throw as many Int’s as TD’s and be a great decision maker?

"No matter where you go, you are what you are playa"-Jay Z

by Wmillion on Mar 10, 2009 4:49 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

I'm just going to lay out the two biggest indicators of decision making, and let you make the call...
Trent E. who makes worse decisions then Romo.

2008 season statistics:
———————————————-
Edwards averaged 1 Interception per 37.40 pass attempts. 374 attempts.

Romo averaged 1 Interception per 32.11 pass attempts. 450 attempts

Romo’s career average of 1 Interception per 28.41 pass attempts is even more indicative of poor decision making.

———————————————
Edwards completion percentage: 65.5
Romo completion percentage: 61.3
———————————————

I’m not here to compare QB’s….but those two stats clearly show Edwards to be better decision maker, or more inclined to make a better decision with regards to ball security and being a game manager.

btw…that is with an inferior O Line, WR’s, TE’s, RB"s, and Defense, all while playing in the frozen tundra in a outdoor stadium…

I’m just saying it like it is……..I can only assume with only 23 NFL starts under his belt, he will only continue to get better and show more poise and confidence in his decision making. I can only assume with the addition of TO, the double/triple teams against Lee Evans will subside, clearing up both of them to strive, with Edwards being the main benefactor. If he doesn’t at least double his TD production of last year, I’d be completely shocked.

He Blew a chance to leave a mark

on sports and society?

he’s 2nd all-time in recieving touchdowns. is that a mark?
The guy has played in a superbowl and played very well with a bum ankle, everybody respected his effort he def. left a mark on me.
He’ never been arrested, been accused of steroid use (cheated), been found doing drugs. he should be praised for accompishing what he has the right way.

Yea he wants the ball and says what’s on his mind, and usually he is right. His career has been a great success, yea he hasn’t won a Superbowl (many great players haven’t). but I didn’t hear any cries of “he’s a cancer” when we were 13-3 and had the #1 seed. I think he’s the scapegoat and the fall guy that everybody knows and loves.

To say he’s blown his chances to leave a mark on sports and society is wrong. sorry. best of luck to TO he was a terrific player in big D, and I wish him the best.

He will only be remembered for the negatives, not the positive stats.

Our culture is always happy to accept a ‘reborn’ guy. He could have been the ultimate.

No one will talk about those stats nearly as much as all of the other BS.

by Realist Larry on Mar 7, 2009 10:15 PM CST up reply actions   0 recs

I disagree

I HATED T.O. when he was with SF and Philly, but I don’t now. Now i understand what he’s about, and he’s about winning. No matter what he does the media will tear him apart because he boosts their rating and the more they talk about him the more $$$$$ they make.

ESPN has skewed everybody’s perception of him. People don’t realize he speaks the truth, if only somebody would listen. He said he wanted the ball and when he gets the ball Dallas wins….true. He said the offense was predictable and just plain not that good….True (ask Ed Reed). He basically criticized Romo for not getting him the ball, Didn’t the media do the same thing?

In a world were everything is sugarcoated and nobody wants to hurt each others feelings, TO didn’t care. He didn’t care if JG didn’t like him, because he said his offense wasn’t up to par. he was right.

I’ll remember the stats and the antics too of course, but in the end I’ll remember how unstoppable he was and how every time e touched the ball something great could have happened. I’ll remember watching the game in SF he ended up caching 20+ balls in one game. I’ll remember the “sharpie” which I loved, how original and Harmless. I’ll remember everything good, and when ESPN classic produces their Sportscentury Terrell Owens “controversial but great” I won’t watch because I know what he was about.

Texas Stadium has a hole in the roof so God can watch his favorite team play football.

I personally don't think many teams were interested right now.

I don’t know that for a fact but it does seem like that. Now was it because of his reputation?? Or because that a lot of the big spending teams, who also were teams that might have been interested in him, had shot most of their wad in FA??

I think this will probably turn out to be a good move for TO. If he plays well with a young QB like Edwards, says all the right things, then the Bills will either want him back or he’ll have other suitors. Like I said, I wish him the best

There is no theory of evolution. Just a list of creatures Chuck Norris has allowed to live.

by kameleon_o on Mar 8, 2009 10:57 AM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

that's my point...you have no idea what interest there was...The fact that it's been reported that a handful of teams were ready to sign him before the ink on his pink slip dried up shows me plenty of interest from teams in need of bonifided star

Some people took the high road and bid farewell and the best of luck to TO, and appreciated him for the tremendous contributions he made on the field. It’s called class, and that’s what classy people do. Others decide to continue their smear campaign after he’s gone, with continuous rants about how others should feel about him. I, like many others, don’t feel TO was thee problem here. I sure know he was made the scapegoat, as many of the current players can attest to, and there’s got to be a fall guy, and TO was the only option the media would accept. Pacman and Tank were givens not to return, but as long as the media continued to harp on TO’s status day in and day out, it was never going to go away. If Jerry came right out and said TO was safe, and he’ll be on next years roster, It would have continued, even more so, day in and day out, Why are you keeping the cancer ?? Why do you wish to go through another year of turmoil and divisiveness ?? Daily inquiries about the locker room status…..Jerry was forced to make a move to keep his sanity. He had to offer the public a sacrificial lamb, to prove he’s in control, and doing what’s best for the teams perception…
Do I see this changing the culture or overall feel of the team ? I don’t think so. The media will have plenty to write about next season. If Roy Williams doesn’t produce, expect him to be attacked, and lambasted by the media critics. Expect the media to throw Romo under the bus the first moment they get, labeling his past greatness a byproduct of having an all pro receiver around for three years, being exposed in the after life of TO. The defensive letdowns will be because Jerry didn’t pay top dollar to keep his young, drafted talent around, keeping true to his continuity speech. If we fail this upcoming season, It won’t be because of TO, that’s for sure. I’m sure the many so called realist on this site will find something to bitch and groan about, and rest assured, so won’t the mediots.

I do acknowledge there were issues that should have been addressed, team depth, team disipline, coaching/player accountability, offensive philosophy, game planning, play calling, and accessibility of players to media were major problems that should have been handled differently. I was a supporter of Wade Phillips the whole way through, but my backing of him as HC has died out, and I for one would have fired him after that display against Philly. As far as that ass kissing , back stabbing, know nothing joke of an OC we appearantly are stuck with another season, would not even been given the time of day. I’d have his files on the curb, waiting for his Carrot top act to hit the road. …Nope. none of that went down. We’re stuck with two incompentant figureheads of authority.

Somehow Jerry is going to change completely the way Carrot calls plays, and draws up game plans to make this new atitude offense more Romo friendly. Jerry is going to insist that Romo gets the ball to RW11 to prove his investment was the right choice, since he’s been hearing the ctitics for 6 months saying he blew it. Then of course he wants Felix to get the ball alot more ( so don’t I, btw ) , ok….So maybe more two TE sets, to offset the lack of respect the WR’s will get ? Maybe a two RB backfield to keep all three backs happy and interested ? You think Crayton is going to keep silent if demoted to 3rd WR, and spends over half the game on the bench ?? Maybe Barbie finally goes “on the record” to vent his displeasure of not being given an opportunity to start or get playing time ? Demanding a trade ? How bout Bowen and Hatcher getting stiffed out of an opportunity to start in big D ? Do you think Wade may go off on Carrot top if the offense isn’t producing, therefor putting his job on there line ?? What’s Jerry going to do when this team is 7-6 going into December ??

Oh Yeah…there will be plenty of “DRAMA” next season…you can count on that.

that’s the funny farm guy…but of course, you’d know that, seeing that you gotta be nuts to support the biggest laughingstock in the NFL. called the Oakland Raiders !!!

I'll take TO's drop and bad route running

over Romo’s interceptions and fumbles. In his first season, I used to hold my breath whenever a pass was thrown to TO. Now I hold my breath whenever Romo throws or drops back. The way I see it, TO has only cost us one game (the first Redskins he played in). Romo? Too many. I defended Romo over his fumble in Seattle, but now I’m beginning to think that’s just the way he is.

by ym on Mar 7, 2009 6:47 PM CST reply actions   0 recs

If you can't quantify how many of Romo's interceptions were due to TO

there’s no point of debating this. From the games I’ve seen, the interceptions were just bad decisions. And what about Romo’s fumbles? Romo’s just a goofy grinning bastard.

by ym on Mar 7, 2009 8:03 PM CST up reply actions   0 recs

I wasn't the one starting the debate

But if you’re right, Romo should be near flawless this season since the cancer is out.

by ym on Mar 7, 2009 8:19 PM CST up reply actions   0 recs

yes you did; you threw down the gauntlet when you pointed out that T.O. is a bad route runner

then completely ignored it when you said Romo has too many int’s. Although Romo does have nearly a 2 to 1 td to int ratio, which is really good. So I think you are exaggerating his interceptions to prove a point

by quincyyyyy on Mar 7, 2009 8:25 PM CST up reply actions   0 recs

I doubt it

Romo won’t have to force passes to “stone hands” anymore, and his new number 1 won’t give up on routes.

So "stone hands" doesnt put up TDs then?

who Roy boy??

… I know because Detroit sucks you may not have seen many of of thier games… but I’ve seen Roy give up on routes. I’ve seem him alligator arms some throws across the middle as well. Don’t go rushing out to buy that RW II jersey just yet.. wait until after this season an we’ll see who has the stone hands.

you don’t avg over 78 Rec in 3 years with stone hands… and you definately don’t pull in 10+ TD’s in 3 seasons either.

Romo’s two passes to witten at the end of the Pitt game was that on Owens too? an how about the fumbles?

Well like so many has said already… Its Tony Friendly now… so I hope for the sake of the team he proves to be the Golden boy like you all think he is.

that doesn’t necessarily make that right. The facts are when a WR doesn’t run his proper route it can lead to ints. Saying that every interception is the QB’s fault is ignorant.

Romo inherited a team that was average and looking for quality QB play

He provided it. Regardless of how long he rode the pine he’s only had a limited amount of exposure as an NFL starting QB. He’s got a lot to work on but to make it sound like it’s on him that we haven’t won a playoff game yet is wrong IMO. He’s only had 2 opportunities to even win a playoff game yet.

I think

the Bills were smart. TO should be (at least most of the season) on good behavior. They only gave him a 1 year deal plus they have a solid running game and already have a good receiver in Lee Evans. I thought the Bills would make the playoffs last year & I will pick them again this year to make the playoffs. I still think the Boys are better off long term without TO. Right now I’m thinking FS Moore in round 2 if he’s still on the board. I know a lot of people want Duke Robinson but I think he’s off the board in the early part of round 2. It is interesting that the Boys were looking at WR’s at the combine.

Like this mock:

2. William Moore , FS, Missouri
3. Dorell Scott, DT, Clemson
4. Lawrence Sidbury, DE/OLB, Richmond
4. Tyronne Green, G, Auburn
5. Jason Phillips, ILB, TCU
5. Quinn Johnson, FB, LSU
6. Lydon Murtha, OT, Nebraska
7. Jerraud Powers, CB, Oregon St.
7. Trimane Goddard, SS, North Carolina

If they dont like him, theyre not stuck with him for 3 or 4 years like we were. its only gonna be one. plus the guy on the other side, Lee Evans, has the speed to complement TO’s skills, something which we never really had once Terry Glenn got injured.
As for the Cowboys, I cant wait to see Miles Austin

I think T.O. will make a contribution there and he came out pretty good financially.

I do think he will be challenged to have the same kind of success there that he’s enjoyed in recent years. The weather is a factor, his age will be a factor, the young QB will be a factor.

dude...I'd appreciate you get off this "man love" nonsense.

I don’t “love” any player.( well, besides maybe Felix Jones) I’m an appreciator of fine play, effort, and production, something that can never be taken away from TO.

If you don’t think TO is now one of the top WR’s in the AFC, that’s your opinion.

I’m a backer of TO, and I contend he was foolishly released, and he will thrive in Buffalo with a great compliment of WR’s, and a young up and comer QB. that’s my opinion., and I kindly ask that you respect it.

If I’m not directly commenting with you, at you, or against you, I’d rather you not comment on anything I write at all. If you wish to constructively criticize something I say, by all means, have at it.

I usually feel your comments are rude and abrasive, and of no value to me, your last one being the perfect example. That was clearly an unprovoked attack on an opinion of mine. If you don’t like the guy, fine. I do like him as a player and a person, and I continue to support TO, and hope he goes off and sets team records out in Buffalo.

Hopefully, you’ll soon realize as your comments are continuely deleted, you may wish to take up a new approach in getting your messages across.

I make jokes of Terry as well, but I certainly respect his devotion in defending his boy Romo.

I will not sit here and read all this BS TO bashing without defending him. I’m not a lover of TO’s, I’m more of a hater of people who contribute nothing but negativity. I appreciated TO for all his accomplishments here. If you weren’t a fan of his, fine, but at least show some damn class, and wish him better luck elsewhere upon his departure…

You “haters” stop talking about TO, and i’ll have no need to mention him.

by CowboysRnumba1 on Mar 9, 2009 9:50 AM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

But I'm not hating...

I’m just joking dude.

I have openly said that I didn’t want T.O. to get cut. I see his production but also his flaws.

I know when I’m being a jerk, and I’ll openly apologize to anyone I offend. I don’t appreciate you making blanket statements about me when that’s really not true. I generally just post “I agree” or “I disagree”, I’m just bsing with you because I thought if you’re tough enough to take little pokes at other peoples posts then you wouldn’t mind me taking a poke at yours.

I owned his damn jersey, I made the little T O sign up in the stands when he scored a TD.

I make mistakes, I sometimes go over the line. I openly admit that.

I get frustrated when sometimes people say things that make no sense, and I told Grizz exactly the same thing and apologized.

But I know most of my posts are relative, because I more then not, know what I’m talking about factual wise. When I dont’ know something about the game, I ask questions.

I have asked GD, Raf, because I dont’ know everything.

My problem now, is that you call me out personally after a joke, and make all these comments, when three weeks ago you didn’t mind agreeing with me about the concept of Lebeau’s scheme making Pittsburg players who they are.

Don’t get mad because I don’t agree with you and I’m obviously joking.

I apologize if it didn’t come off that way. Ok?

We both get worked up, and passionately defend our stance...I get that...I respect that.
I make mistakes, I sometimes go over the line. I openly admit that.

I do as well….I have since tried to harness my emotions, and usually will pass by a comment I know will get me in trouble if I respond to it the way I want to. It’s still tough though, so I still might throw lil zingers out there to get the natives restless…

I get frustrated when sometimes people say things that make no sense, and I told Grizz exactly the same thing and apologized.

- Those are the tough ones I speak of.

And if you took offense to whatever i’ve said to you above, I apologize as well. Ya see, I don’t mind taking ribbings on some things I may write, You can question the message I send all you want. In fact, most of my comments are geared towards spurring a response, I sometimes expect a hostile one at that. (If you haven’t noticed)

But if your going attack me for taking sides on a subject, expect me to dish it back..I am tired of the very select few here who inject “TO lovers” when those who defend him are merely opposed to the “TO haters” that are bashing him, It has nothing to do with TO, it has everything to do with the person sending out the hate……Just because TO was released doesn’t mean it was the right move. Just because I continue to stand up for TO the player and person doesn’t make me wrong, or in the minority. I knew TO would eventually be let go, It shouldn’t of happened at this point, but I have no problem with that now. I have a problem with the many uncertainties of the players projected to move up the charts to fill the huge void he now places in our passing game.

Pretty much every single thing I write is factual and documented. My opinions are usually based on such if I’m looking counter or debate someone’s comments..I suggest whomever questions my opinions come with proof or facts as well, otherwise it’s not going to bode well… I don’t get offended if someone disagrees with my opinion or stance on a subject, I get offended when someone challenges my opinion by saying it’s wrong, or theirs is better or the right one with little or nothing to support their claim. Everyone’s opinion is subjective. I sometimes have an agenda or goal i’m trying to accomplish with messages I send out here…Sometimes it’s to inform people on matters they may not know about. Sometimes I’m making a push for player or prospect on the horizon. Sometimes just to keep a good thread going, I’ll stir things up, and throw out something totally obscure. I just love talking Cowboys Football. But I hate negativity…sure we don’t have much to boast about after this past season, ( it was the most disappointing season in my 33 years of watching Cowboys Football) but there’s no need to single out just a few players and continuely bash them for months on end, and even after they’re gone.. In fact, I have grown so tired of sticking up for TO, I’m now glad he’s gone in that sense. But if I really wanted to disect each and every player on this roster, and bash them for one thing or another, there are probably only five players (Ware, Ratliff, Columbo, Choice, and James) that played up to their expectations, and don’t deserve some well earned criticism. TO, Henry, RWilliams, Tank, and Pack are now all gone….I wish we could look forward now, and get over last season.

I don’t try to interpret nothing, I certainly don’t assume nothing, and I don’t write about perceived concepts taken from the media. I believe it was a mistake to get rid of TO, but I understand why Jerry did it, and it most certainly wasn’t because of declining skills, or a chance to get the young guys reps.I have to commend him for it. I know he didn’t want to, but he had to.

Like I said, Just because I’m not on the Bash TO bandwagon, doesn’t mean I’m to be questioned why I’m not.

I’m a supporter of TO, and nothing will change that stance. Not somebody calling me “TO lover” etc. etc..or making snide comments to insinuate such…..If you wanna hate on TO and question his abilities, go right ahead. I don’t give anyone a hard time for hating the man…I can even understand one’s position as to why you would hate him. But if I was filling out a roster on my own, TO were certainly have a role on my team.

Many feel TO was wrongfully represented by the media, completely overblown, and was basically forced to be the sacrificial lamb to restore some semblence of order here…Even I had conceded he needed to go, after the fact…Is it really that hard to respect someone elses opinion ?………You got a few pricks on this site, who can’t get enough, like they don’t have something real to talk about.

Rosenhous was bluffing...

TO makes a quick decision to sign just a one-year deal with what is probably the most media challenged team in the league?

If there was really “several” teams interested in TO’s services, they would have taken their time and tried to leverage this into a multi-year deal. I think there are enough clues here. Also, it think Buffalo was a little desperate after missing out on both WR’s Coles and TJ Housh….and they decided to take a risk knowing that this is Dick Jaroun’s last season at HC if they don’t make the playoffs.

For as much criticism that JJ & Co. have taken for dumping Owens, the lack of interest around the league should tell you all you need to know about Owens.

Cowboy Up!

by CowboyCrazy on Mar 7, 2009 8:42 PM CST reply actions   0 recs

I think that

they knew they weren’t getting better than a one year deal from anyone. The league saw what JJ did when he first signed Owens and Buffalo followed suit. Why would anyone commit to more than a one year deal? I think Buffalo is perfect for T.O. I don’t think that his agent would want his client in places like New York (Jets Giants) or Washington (playing Dallas & Philly twice a year each? No way.) I think Rosenhaus is no dummy and this was a way to get his client out of the spotlight. I think it was pretty smart. If it had been drawn out longer it would have been media fodder longer.

who also, naturally, hates the Cowboys and he seldom lets me forget about it. He has taken particular delight haranguing me about T.O. over the past few years, with cocky assertions fueled in large part by his daily dosing of BSPN, of how the cancer would kill the Cowboys; furthermore how his Bills were immune from this disease. Today, he will not answer his lifeline cell phone. He’s reading my name on the screen and turning it away in disgust, I’m sure. (I’m smiling picturing the scene in my head.)

It’s funny how these things often turn out.

I’m no hater on T.O.; I started out as one but I was a converted by his on-field production and his generally good citizenship in Dallas. I wasn’t really happy that he was cut (especially about the cap hit) but I’ve taken it in the same stride that I learned to take his presence. Today, I am most grateful for T.O. because I can add his signing with Buffalo to my hackneyed repertoire of retorts to my friend—I mean, how many can one actually have regarding the Bills beyond their Super Bowl failures? It’s like picking on the dorky kid down the street. Recently, I’ve needled him about their potential move to Toronto, although to little effect. Now I have T.O. and as it happens, I won’t have to say a word!

Sorry to use so many here.

Oh... Oh, that's giving me a clue. Yeah, ye-yeah, I've got a raging clue right now.

I was StarStruck at TBB/BSR, now...

That's gotta feel good

I was hoping the Bears would sign him for the same reasons. There used to be a handful of Bills fans around here and they thought the Bills were the team of the 90’s. They can be a little delusional.

I am in much the same boat

I live in Bills’ territory. The amount of crap I’ve gotten over the years from Bills fans about chemistry and TO, etc., is high.

Even in the papers, the local mediot railed on TO and Jerry and the circus and cancer, etc. Well lo and behold, this morning he comes out with a piece on how TO was a great signing. That he’s a great complement to Lee Evans, how he’ll bring in lots of fans. Wonderful signing!

The hypocrisy is amazing. I guess everyone realizes TO is an a-hole. But when he becomes your a-hole, he’s good to have around.

Anyone think it's amusing...

that T.O. still polarizes US after he’s gone?

I have noticed a new resurgence in Cowboy hating in 2007, which can only mean one thing- We're back.

I'm not sure amusing is the word for it

Best wishes to TO

He was certainly one of the most exciting and enjoyable players to watch in recent Cowboys history.

I'm relieved

he’s not only out of the division but out of the conference and the Bills are not in our rotation next year. I wish him the best and hope he can find peace up there. Hoepfully Ed doesn’t like the cold so he can be left alone

Best of luck

to the Buffalo Bills!

You have just signed an aging prima dona who is convinced he is more important than all the rest of your players and coaches combined. For as long as Owens is on your roster, your team will be devoted to padding his stats. Everything else is secondary.

Good luck.

Keep doing what you been doing, keep getting what you been getting.

The TO signing.

Jim Miller from Sirius NFL radio says the TO signing makes the Bills the 2nd best offense in there division.. Your thoughts?

Possibly...

But they should have the second best even without Owens.

I mean the Jets have a big question mark at QB and Miami isn’t exactly an offensive juggernaut.

But I would agree there, they have a good pair of wideouts and Lynch is an animal.

Dallas makes me act like Christian Bale......

I'll bet TO starts running a lot more slants with Buffalo

Trent Edwards used a lot of 3 step drops against us and it worked pretty well in 2007.

Does anyone know if they run a West Coast offense there.

There is no theory of evolution. Just a list of creatures Chuck Norris has allowed to live.

TO

TO has been cut and signed with a new team and no sign of DEKE… Interesting..

Haven’t seen Joos in a while either.

I was on vacation and my laptop crashed

but the cutting of T.O. made me very happy. He can now go and infect the Bills. LOL

And Romo can finally be exposed with his security blanket now ripped from his grasp....lmao..

I certainly hope that’s not the case (as i’m a big fan of ‘06-’07 Romo myself)…..but this is Show up, and Put up time for Romo……He has all the weapons neccessary to excel out of the shadows of TO, let’s see him do it now.

+1000

Now all the media is saying there’s more pressure on Romo to perform well this year because has the spotlight now. It is definitely “Put up or shut up”.

Looks Good For Buffalo Looks Bad For The Cowboys.

Right now the Cowboys are in big trouble as far as wins are concerned. I don’t care how good of intentions you can’t start over every year and expect to win anything. The offense is basicly staring over against a veteran NFC East Conference. The weak issues haven’t been adderssed yet. The o-line and the defensive backfield including the linebackers.

So, big problems are still there gaping holes on the team ready to be exploited by the monsters of the NFC East among others.
