Marvin Harrison anyone....?
With the 'Boys being down a top wideout and not in place to pick up a receiver until the second day, do you think Jerry should make a play for the aging Harrison? Part of me thinks that a guy who's as good a route runner as Marvin and worked with arguably the best QB in history would be great for Romo. This part of me gets really excited about the thought. The other part of me says stick with what we got, pick up some depth, and use Felix and Martellus more in the passing game. Find out if Miles can be a #2, if Roy can be a real #1, and what, if anything Stanback has to offer. What do you guys think?

one reason why they cut TO not enough balls

I'm a fan of the move to cut TO
But the dude had balls. He remains pretty physical at his age. I didn’t see him go down as opposed to taking a big hit much, if at all, this season.
But yeah, to further back up your point, Harrison had no balls. Ever. Guy would just go down if there was even the slightest risk of GASP! contact. Guy had one of the greatest QBs ever throwing the ball to him, and had the ability to make the occasional pretty catch. That’s about it.

That isn't entirely true.
Last year, he definitely made every effort to avoid contact (which was frustrating). But in the years before his injury…he took some hits. I will tell you one thing, his feet were ALWAYS in bounds. ALWAYS.
Personally, I wish he would just retire.

thats makes no sense whatsoever
Terry Glenn and Harrison are pretty much clones regarding skills, age and knee problems and Jerry just cut Glenn last year so why would he want to sign a WR with the same problems??

Harrison and Glenn were both speed receivers...
but that is about the extant of the comparison between the two.
I do agree with you, Harrison is toast.
Harrison was much better at running routes, but he doesn’t seperate enough and is a smallish receiver.

I strongly disagree
Glenn was just as talented as Harrison, ran routes as well and had hands every bit as good as Harrison.
Harrison put up better career numbers because he stayed healthy the vast majority of his career and had Peyton Manning as his qb.
If their career paths were reversed, Glenn would be the future HOFer, not Harrison.

Why? TO is gone because we were overloaded at the position.
Don’t forget to factor in TE’s to the catching equation and then factor in the scales tipping more towards the run next year.
A big helz no..let the YOUNG guys play!

that's interesting that you bring up Marvin Harrison.....
cause I just got back in from a business trip in Indianapolis. The fans that I talked to, all want Harrison back. They still love the guy. Maybe his production has fallen off, but he’s still a fan favorite.
