Watching Cowboys Games Online

I live in D.C. now so even though its in the Redskins area I still get almost all Cowboys games on tv. Next year I'll be going to college in Ithaca and I'm guessing that Cowboys games aren't broadcasted very much. From what I hear, there are mostly Giants and Patriots fans there.

I was wondering if anyone knows a good site or online service which allows you to watch live football games in relatively high quality, and I already know about justin.tv and ustream but the quality on those are usually awful and it's never a guarantee that the game will be up there.

Dude!

my girlfriend goes to ithaca college and i go to cornell. I’m graduating this semester. Where are you headed?

I haven’t had many problems with seeing cowboys games – the large majority of the time, as long as they play at a different time than the giants, I can see it. And the giants are on prime time a lot too so thats not too big of an issue.

but if you do have to look online, channelsurfing.net and justin.tv are where i’ve generally found the games. They take some patience though. I had to listen to the Cincinatti and St Louis games on an online radio site & i watched the tampa bay and San Fran games online. So 12/16 isn’t bad. And we already have 6 primetime games scheduled next year.

Yeah im going to IC.

I know people at Cornell though, and good choice in a gf from Ithaca College, the girls there are attractive to say the least. Yeah the good thing about the ‘Boys is the amount of primetime games we got so I’ll definitely be watching those.

Yeah i use channelsurfing.net alot for bball games.

I’ll probably be at bars but I need a sure way to watch ‘Boys games just in case, and even if it’s a service you have to pay for online i’ll consider it

Color me ignorant

but how do they get away with that? Seems like the NFL dream police would be all over this. Or the MLB,NHL or even the network police for that matter.

Alot of the time the channel gets shut down

so the hosts put a password or something to keep it private, but it’s never a guarantee, i’m looking for something push comes to shove can let me see a cowboys game.

I'm in the same boat.

Used to live in Dallas now I’m 850 miles away and rely on network coverage. I need a source to watch when they’re not on over here. Don’t really like sports bar scene and dont really want to risk a DUI…I get thirsty when the Boys play..

It's not watching, but...

If push comes to shove, you can get Sirius satellite radio and listen to all of the games with the local broadcast team. There’s also DirecTV.

I live in Florida, so there are 3 in state teams, although 2 are AFC, but the only Cowboys game that wasn’t on TV was the Rams game.

surprising

I’ve lived in nfc east country all my life (but not dallas) and i’ve rarely gotten more than 12 games a year. Maybe in 07.

I ended up going

To a local sports bar that has sunday ticket. Unfortunately there is talk of the place going out of business soon so I i might have to find a new place, or find an outlet online.

I managed to watch all of the BOYS games

Last year I used justintv or athde.net. There is also one with dteam in the title, but for the life of me ustream.tv which usually keeps broadcasting even when the others get busted. i do not have a TV so the internet is my TV. I hope this helps rveach

Hello again

Please disregard “there is one with dteam in the title, but for the life of me”. I remembered it was ustream:-)

Try myp2p.eu

I can almost always find a game stream there in the forums, but I can’t guarantee that the quality is going to be better than what youre finding on justin.tv, ustream, or adthe. You can also subscribe to the nfl field pass www.nfl.com/fieldpass and listen to all the games. They also have a video service, but it’s only available to people in europe, except the UK. I guess they don’t want people moving away from directv subscriptions. http://streamtvnow.tv/board/ is a pretty good site also, but you usually have to donate to get access to the good sections of the forums. This thread would be better served when things get closer to the season cause this stuff changes all the time.

DirecTV NFL Sunday Ticket is definitely the way to go

I don’t think I could watch a Cowboys game in non HD or any game for that matter. Once you go HD, you can’t go back.

Anybody

happen to know where you can download previous games from the 08’ season? I remember during the season people posting links to download games from the previous week, but didn’t favorite any of the sites. No NFL Network here, so I’d like to fill my Cowboys craving by re-watching some of last years games. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
