Cowboys Would not sign Larry Foote if / when the Stealers release him because our 1st pick will be an ILB and we have 2 veterans there already? Come on if your trying to head off that fan rush to call for us to sign him at least let your logic be sound.
#1 Williams our 1st pick will be a ILB. Really?, our 3rd Round pick is that good? I grant you I like his potential . The speed he is said to have makes him intriguing. However, I don't think he sees anything other than ST this year because from what I have seen he is just not strong enough at this point to go head to head against the Big Dogs- heck he didn't even go against the jr. big dogs in collage.
#2 We have 2 Veterans in Brooking and Carpenter. Really?, Brooking is at the end of his game and Carpenter never had any. Foote is a 28 yr old pro bowler and a contributor to a Super Bowl winning team.
Now The Cowboy's will not go after Foote, but the reasons are more about Finance than about who we have on the team. I love to read about the Cowboys in any way shape or form ( except Tabloid ), I don't even care if you spell correctly - just make a good arguement for your point, sometimes you can be right for the wrong reasons.

Foote is not that good any way
Certainly the weakest among the 4 Steelers LBs, every Steelers fan I ever talked to always wanted him replaced.
James and Brooking are our starting ILBs, however, Williams and Hodge certainly have a good shot at winning the nickel backer spot that was occupied by Kevin Burrnett.
I see Barbie’s days with the Cowboys being numbered as a result.

ya, ok you are probably right, I really don't claim to know anything about the Steeler's
except they have a pretty good defence. I just didn’t think his reasoning was sound. but thats only my opinion.
Steelers defense is great because
of their DL, edge OLBs and Palomala. Foote and Farrior are average as well as the rest of their secondary.

And Might be the starter by the end of the year. I hope anyways.

Williams is still raw and needs some development, I’ll just be happy if he wins the nickel backer job.
