Martellus Bennett Twitter - I think he's talking to BTB
Tweet! Tweet! Is that Marty B Twittering about our own BTB writer, Carl Shelton, and his post from yesterday? Sure seems like it! Someone sent a tweet to Martellus Bennett pointing out Carl's article which was full of much-love for the quotable TE out of Texas A&M. And also presented the dilemma of Marty B becoming too good to remain a backup. Well, Marty B gives us his own response.
LOL it's wayyyy to soon to even entertain the idea of me leaving I mean come on really. I'm part of Americas Team
There you have it BTB.
Nick Eatman takes a look at Marty B.

DC.com's Billion Dollar Stadium update.
A lot of that money must have gone to the scoreboard. According to the Star-Telegram, the Cowboys will now have the world's largest scoreboard. It costs as much as Texas Stadium!
Stretching roughly from 20-yard line to 20-yard line and suspended 90 feet above the field, the Mitsubishi Diamond Vision scoreboards - one facing each sideline - are inescapable.

Peter King is helping with a benefit for Dr.Z who has recently suffered strokes and is currently unable to write his column. They want to get him some intense therapy and one thing they are doing to raise money is auctioning off a Cowboys trip of a lifetime.
Airfare and two nights' lodging, from anywhere in the United States to Dallas for a Cowboys game this season at the new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. But that's not all. The winner and guest will get to stop by the Cowboys' Saturday walkthrough practice at Valley Ranch, the club's training headquarters, meet a player, and get a tour of the training facility. They'll also get an onfield pre-game pass at the football game, with the chance to meet Cowboys owner Jerry Jones before settling in to watch one of the Cowboys' eight regular-season games. The game will be a Sunday afternoon game, subject to negotiation once the schedule is announced later this month. Minimum bid: $10,000.

It's been kind of slow in the Cowboys news world. Rafael and I are trying to wrap-up a few projects and some things that are going on off-the-blog, so our post rate has been down. Raf will be back tomorrow with a new article and we'll be introducing a few new things in the coming week.
And lest I forget, we're still taking donations for our Training Camp fundraiser. Any amount of contribution is greatly appreciated.
Addendum: We have a nice perk for those who have already donated and a possible lure for those of you who have not. I have a lithograph of the Triplets, which we'll give to one lucky donor. Everybody who contributes will be automatically entered in a drawing for the lithograph, which we'll announce after the draft. (Image coming soon, once Raul tracks down the jpeg.)
Who said camp stories were the only payback for your hard-earned scratch?

I'll be kicking in to the fund...
And to all that are debating whether or not – don’t forget Grizz’s words – ANY AMOUNT will help! Who can’t give $5 or $10 or $20 to an excellent sports-news source? I remember growing up with the Star Ledger in New Jersey, catching a Cowboys article only a few rare times per year outside of the weeks they played the Giants. Sports Illustrated was decent covering the Cowboys during their 70s run…
BUT WE FORGET HOW SPOILED WE ARE WITH THIS STEADY STREAM OF EVERY COWBOYS!
(there, i said it…)
btw, that’s awesome MB is twittering w/ btb… will we be seeing any twitters from training camp?
Tar Heels started this college Bball season with one goal in mind - that loss to Kansas in last year's final 4 will make this team all bid-ness!

+1
I usually kick in $20 when Raf first starts asking and then during the drive up till TC I end up kicking in $10 to $20 several more times. It all adds up.

yeah, if everyone on this blog
just kicks in $20, they would get to their goal of $5000 very fast.

For a minimum bid of $10,000, what player would you NOT want to meet?
Greg Ellis. I would get my a$$ beat for telling him he needs to shut his yap.

Marty B is vocal
But he doesn’t strike me as the type to bitch and moan. It’s nice to hear him being modest. Do well and you’ll be rewarded in time.

Is there a way we can keep tabs on how much has been donated?
A donation counter would be sick.

4 round mock
2. Jairus Byrd, CB, Oregon
3. Dorell Scott, DT, Clemson
4. Dannell Ellerbe, ILB, Georgia
4. T.J. Lang, OG, Eastern Michigan

Good one
Ellerbe has some red flags with injuries and legal troubles, however. Not real big on him even though he does have talent.
I like the other 3 picks a lot, and it fits nicely with the team’s needs.

Call me
old fashioned, but there is something creepy about a tight end who tweets.
Just made a donation to send the guys to camp. Probably do more before it’s over.
Keep doing what you been doing, keep getting what you been getting.

I think he tweets
because he is a tight end. I can’t believe I just typed that. OMG I’m clicking post too!
