Cowboys' indoor facility collapses during practice
The afternoon practice ended in horrifying fashion when the Cowboys' indoor facility collapsed.
While a violent thunderstorm pounded rain down on the roof, the lights started shaking back and forth. Then chaos broke out, as the facility collapsed and players, coaches, reporters and team personnel scrambled for safety.
Several people were trapped under the wreckage. Police and emergency personnel have arrived on the scene.
More to come.
God I hope nobody is seriously injured. Scary...
UPDATE: According to a Cowboys spokesman, at least four members of the team’s support staff are being taken to the hospital. All players and coaches are believed to be safe. Rescue personnel is still searching through the debris.
UPDATE: Main thread has more updates. Fox News is covering it extensively now too.
UPDATE 2: Now CNN is showing footage as it happened and eye witness reports.

Holy crap....
I just read that on the DMN blog. Trying to find more info. Anyone else have anything?
I guess no more filling in at CB for him
*The defensive backs were the stars of the session. Well, with the exception of safeties coach Brett Maxie, who filled in at cornerback so they could go 7-on-7. QB Rudy Carpenter picked on Maxie a few times. “I didn’t want to hurt ’em,” Maxie explained. “This is their camp, man.”

Well everyone is not ok, someone was impaled by an object and is in critical condition
but I shouldn’t be surprised you would come on here and say something so classless, this is why Eagles fans have the worst reputation in football.
Ya first they cheer for irvin and now there cheering when a coach breaks his back....
City of brotherly love……. not
I thank God everyday i wasnt born a Eagles fan!!!!!!
I'd say thanks, but no thanks, bra.
You still added the “With that said…. Is this not the best microcosm for Dallas since 96?”.
Again, typical Eagles’ fan.

Is it really in good taste to be taking shots at the Cowboys organization at this time?
Oh silly me, as an Eagles fan you wouldn’t know any better. You people are devoid of any morality whatsoever.
The people who got hurt are part of the team, so everyone is hurting, too.
A man will never walk again, and you show up to spout crap? Totally and typically classless.
wow...
okay this is getting really awkward… comic relief in 3..2…… I hate to burst your bubble but my comments were made when all i knew was …your practice bubble collapsed// okay so I’m truly sorry and like i said before… my best wishes go out to the staff members that were hurt.

But why bother posting anything at all?
Use your head.
Training Camp '09 = Mega Thunder Dome....80 men enter, 53 men leave.
My thoughts and prayers with your organization and the ones injured
Nobody likes to see this. Hopefully everyone has a speedy recovery and we can keep this rivalry strong but civil.
"I think if you go low on Runyan, he may drop the knee somewhere. So I think you have to stay high and just let him baptize you. That's probably what I would do. You know when you go backwards and your head hits first and you wake up as if somebody baptized you or blessed you? I think that would be Runyan right there, all day, every day."

Do you guys know why It fell?
Was it because the facility was set-up unproperly or was it the shear wind and If it was the wind then way practice when the wind is 64 mph even indoors. I mean not to sound disrespectful but, If Jerry Jones can buy a 2 Billion dollar stadium and not afford a strong practice Facility.
Amazing, Jamarcus Russell hands off to McFadden who pitches it back to Russell who finds Darrius Heyward Bey in the Middle of the Field wide open 30, 20,10,5 Touchdown Raiders! Amazing. This telecast is Brought to you by Cable.
Not to sound disrespectful?
Are you serious? How would any of us know that answer?
There is a guy that can’t walk dude.
They've done studies, you know. 60% of the time it works, every time.
You need to do some more background research nishal26
Here’s a start

The new stadium has nothing to do with the practice bubble (which other teams use) and cost $4 mil to construct.

Yeah, I could have done that on my own time but, that’s why I came here but, looks like you guys are as clueless as me on this situation so It really doesn’t help.

I think it will go down as one of those things that there not going to be able to explain...
I hope for the best of the people who got hurt but with a building crashing down on them there lucky to have there lives…. and i hope dallas plays with more passion for Behm and gets a couple of wins for the man.
