Is Romo developing a rapport with Miles Austin too?
All the articles about Roy Williams talk about Romo and Roy spending time this offseason getting in sync. 20-30 minutes per day, several days per week, is what I have read.
I guess my question is -- is Romo spending any time getting in sync with Miles Austin, who many people feel will leapfrog Patrick Crayton into the starting lineup opposite Roy?
And, if the answer is no, then why not? Austin has something like 18 catches in his CAREER. Wouldn't time with him be equally well spent?
Ditto for Isaiah Stanback and Sam Hurd. Romo needs to be in sync with all his potential receivers, doesn't he?

I'm not worried about him being in sync with Austin
They have been on the team together for what 3 years, even back before Romo was a starter they were probably running scout team together, 3 years of training camp and practice and so on, they probably have pretty good timing. the problem hasn’t been their timing, it’s been Austin’s injury history.
Austin and hurd have been there with Roy and Romo
it is just not as publicized because the bigger story does not focus on their relationship. As the previous comments points out, he has been working with this guys his whole career, so they may not need that much time with Romo anyway.
Ignore the Mainstream Media, EMBRACE THE HATE!!!!
The bigger question is
Can Austin stay healthy this year? I believe he already as a rapport with Romo, he just needs to stay on the field for an entire season.
Romo needs to be in sync with people who play
…not with people who have spent more time on IR than the field.
It’s like asking Romo why he doesn’t have a rapport with Stanback?
Romo: “Who?”

From what i know
All his injurys are due to Special Teams. I was watching Hard Knocks and he looked great.
I say keep him OFF our roster and find someone who isn't brittle

no Special teams
I say no special teams activities of any kind for Austin/Hurd in the preseason. They need a chance to stay healthy and make plays.

Kind of hard to develop rapport with Stanback
The guy is constantly injured.

Does Peyton Manning throw to only one receiver?
When I’ve heard about Peyton Manning’s work in the offseason, I seem to recall that he worked out with Reggie Wayne as well as Marvin Harrison. And he did so EVERY year, not just the first year.
This brings me back to my point. Romo should be syncing with every receiver, not just Roy Williams. Crayton is the only wide receiver we have who has caught more than 20 balls in his career from Tony Romo. Anything less than that is pretty much worth NOTHING in terms of having chemistry and timing.
Compare it to the number of balls caught by Jason Witten from Romo — it’s in the hundreds. Now that’s a connection.
