Weird

I thought I remember reading somewhere on the DMN blog about Hawkins in the OTAs, oh well, at least I get to be surprised now.

What’s the point of another big WR? Is he gonna battle w/Mike Jefferson and Ogletree? At least, Hawkins offered something variety at the position. The dude can fly, run crisp routes, and securely tackle on ST if needed.

Holley seems like a decent wideout and all, but imo the Cowboys are letting a unique talent slip away up north in favor of the same frame of WRs they simply seem to covet.

Maybe Rocket Ismail can mediate between the Alouettes and da King.

It really doesn't matter

Hawkins isn’t expected to start in Montreal. If he can’t play for the Alouettes, I doubt that he would have much of an impact with the Cowboys.

Unlike a Cowboys' season, in life, there may not be a next year.

Or at least give a spoiler warning in the title. It’s the dead time of year and 4th and Long is pretty much the only football related entertainment I have. I’d like it to at least be interesting.
