I would go Barber/Choice traditional RBs
and have Felix do it all, being out there on around 65% of the plays, sometimes as RB, in the Razorback and also receiver, I wouldn’t mind going 2 TE with Barber in the backfield and Felix opposite Roy a play or two but most use him in the slot

Choice is the best everydown back with barber for relief and 4th quarter.
Who cares who gets payed what, it sure would put the fire and desire back in Barber ( i thought he played a bit soft last year, shying away from a few hits, not securing the ball at times, but thats just what I thought.)
Felix can be added too the mix along with either back and anywere from in the back field to split out wide.

I don't really get where you saw that he played soft.
I don’t remember one instance that he shyed away from contact. In fact I’d say that alot of his fumbles were caused from him trying to churn out extra yards.
If Barber’s problem was desire last year, then he sure as hell fooled me with that TD catch against Arizona.
it was weird, I... I mean you probably didn't hear about it because I went under the name of Mike Honcho. But I just wanted you to know that. If you can hear me, if it got into your brain somehow. That I spread my buttcheeks as Mike Honcho.

You maybe right
I can only go by the few games I saw ( the ones available on line and on TV in the Central fl area, tough when Miami, Tampa Bay, and Jacksonville get the attention.) and like I also said “that’s what I thought” you and many any maybe everybody else saw something different.

Its not just you
I commented on that same observation a few times on BTB. There were several occassions where I felt he took
the sidelines instead of driving through a defender. I specifically called it the BEAST mode. Too many retired
running backs were critical of his style of running and advised him to avoid those hits. With the exception of a
few games…2nd Washington game for example…he was an average RB, not the BEAST we all wanted to see.
Now I will give that he was injured part of the season and I don’t know how early in the season he got hurt, but I
hope the BEAST returns with the help and relief of Jones and Choice.

I guess I didn't see it that much.
He does run towards the sidelines, but he was even doing that the year before. He wasn’t running out of bounds, but he has always tried to bounce outside way too much.

Before I answer...
I need to know if Felix can do the things that Chris Johnson (mainly in terms of catching the football downfield) can do in Tennessee. Now, Johnson was a WR for a time, so maybe Felix can’t match his receiving skills.
But if he can, then that changes everything.

I'm not sure if I didn't see it or not...
but I don’t remember the Titans throwing down field to Johnson alot. Generally his passes were short passes that he used his speed to make plays with.

Agreed
Johnson isn’t the best comp as a receiving back. He has good hands, but ended up with pedestrian numbers last season. I think Bush, Westbrook and Slaton are better targets
Purgatory's kind of like the in-betweeny one. You weren't really shit, but you weren't all that great either. Like Tottenham.

That being said...
I bet his receiving numbers improve this year.

btw Bling....Felix started his high school football career as a WR...
he’s got the hands, agility, and ball skills to be a Westbrook/Faulk -esque RB
He’s out best offensive weapon, and I’ve been saying all along that he should be on the field for at least 65% of all offensive plays.

The 80's Giants
had a simular group of backs. Dave Meggett was a player a lot like Felix.

I want to see all three guys involved in every game no matter how they split time.
Just get ‘em out there and get’r done!

I'd rather just go with the tried and true NFL axiom...
Take what the Defense gives you…if they crowd the box, pass it….if they drop back coverage, run it down their throat…we have the weapons…just have to call the right game plan.

simmppleee
to utlize these backs think back to the Parcell days. Remember when Marion lead the nfc with Tds.they gave him the ball at the right times goal line, short yardage, plus his portion of carries. All this 4th quater crap for barber throw it out the window.
Felix should get more touches notice the word “touches” than anyone on this team.I know he can b a tradtional runin back I would like to see him use as a specality back.Throw it to him in the flats, screens, line him up as a wideout, he got his carries, and his kick returns. So if i do the 5 touch logic he has at least 25 touches. A Reggie Bush, Westbrook style player but i know Felix is better than the two.
Choice is the guy i would like to see in the fourth quarter to clean up games. Same style as Marion he should produce plus u dnt have your starter RB featured in the fourth quater.
There is still room for two Rb sets or the possiblity to bring n another rb. If u remember the giants yield two 1000 yard rushers last year. Its time to start gashn these teams.
