Does JJ want Pac-man back?
This is an article from the Ft. Worth Star Telegram.
Say it ain't so JJ, you would actually consider bringing Pac-man back. I will state this, maybe he was a little drunk during the concert, or was in denial to think that considering a move like that to be a good one. Hopefully the coaches and stephen come in to have an intervention to keep JJ from drinking from the crazy straw again. The article did say that he considered it a long shot, but if he was serious about bringing AJ back he must really want to have a one of his FA gambles pay-off. I think he was just feeling so good after having his stadium open and the feeling of success of the 1st event in the new stadium must have gone to his head a little.

Calvin watkins has an addendum to the news that JJ does not want pacman back; it kinda explains why JJ would do this and it makes sense that since he was feeling so good he wanted to try and help out pacman.

The Coaches looked at the tape and this was their conclusion
as reported by the telegram:
He also said Pacman Jones … graded as the team’s best cornerback.
Better than Newman? So if i am reading this right, the Cowboys lost their best receiver (TO) and their best corner (Pac) this offseason. I can see why he’s thinking about it.

I don't see how he graded out as that.
It seemed like he freelanced alot.
I do NOT want him to come back, I think that it’s taking a step back by saying that you’d even think about taking him back and it hurts credibility.
it was weird, I... I mean you probably didn't hear about it because I went under the name of Mike Honcho. But I just wanted you to know that. If you can hear me, if it got into your brain somehow. That I spread my buttcheeks as Mike Honcho.

What does this say about Jenkins/Scandrick
and maybe even 7th round pick Mike Mickens, who I expect to be every bit as good as Scandrick was as a rookie. The obvious problem with this is that you dont take a flyer on a guy as controversial (and talented) as Pacman to sit him. If they sign him, he’s starting. And if he’s starting, then Jankins and Scandrick are on the bench. Scandrick seems to have the slot CB spot nailed down. This is really a bigger slight to Jenkins.
Now, if (or maybe ‘when’) Newman gets injured, I might reconsider. But for now I would say HELLS NO to Pacman in Dallas.

Don't forget DeAngelo Smith...
… who i feel will be the “mediots’ come out of nowhere” rookie. He’s a talented corner and dangerous return man.
And i’m declaring him my “pet cat” for training camp.
Am following him on twitter too, btw.

I like DeAngelo
I just read a nice review about him today, matter of fact. But he is playing behind Ken Hamlin, so I dont think he gets too many defensive snaps unless Hambone get injured. That was why I mentioned Mickens, because he could see the field in nickle or dime packages. Smith might see some Punt Return duties, however.

Jerry is an addict
He simply must have some (drama/dysfunction/pet project) on his team.
Period!
He’s like an alcoholic and a guy like PacMan is a bottle of gin.
His hand starts to shake. He slowly starts to reach for the bottle of booze. He knows he shouldn’t do it, but really, he just can’t help himself.
The thought of going an entire season with boring players who won’t bring (unnecessary & unwanted) attention to his team drives Jerry CRAZY!
Jerry’s addicted.

That being said...
I still don’t think Pacman is coming back.

If we bring Pacman back ill go nuts
He can’t catch the damn ball and we don’t need that idiot in the locker room. I’ll roll with the guys we have and be just fine about it.

from DMN Blog
Through Cowboys spokesman Rich Dalrymple, owner and general manager Jerry Jones said, “I have no plans to bring Adam back.”
