Preseason food for thought

I love this team, I spend alot of time reading this site, and several others looking for news on the boys or in the case of this site, news and anaylsis.  I have noticed that as fans we have concerns about depth and about the play of the back-up players and the concern of what if scenarios concerning injuries.  I do no know how much anyone here spends looking at our division rivals to see how they are managing during the preseason.  The teams in our division are also having some struggles:

The iggles have injury concerns that make it hard for their fans to evaluate what kind of team they will have at the start of the season but they have concerns on the oline, the defense has not looked the same.

The deadskins have concerns over campbell and how the 1st team offense has struggled to produce points, the defense looks like it might be better, but as we all know they were a pretty good defense to begin with.  So the area for concern to them is still a question mark.

The gints have not neccessarily looked sharp in their outings on both 1st team defense and offense, with the exception of the running game.

Other than the deadskins, the gints and iggles have had post season success to temper any concerns over whether their teams will have success, but that is no gurantee that they will have success.  The deadskins and dallas are in the same boat with their fans, there are legitimate concerns over how their teams will perform; there is a concern that the teams will still have the same struggles (penaties for dallas, and no offense for Was).  I see a similar theme, fans (myself included) have been waiting for the season to start to the point where we just want it to get here already.  So any bit of actual football we can see and disect is magnified to the nth degree.  I am holding off any snap judgements for now.  I do not think we will know what this team will really be able to accomplish until after the 4th game of the season at the earliest.  By the forth game defenses will start adjusting to what the team is doing, and we will see if they can adapt; because regardless of the type of offensive philosophy the team employs teams will find a counter attack.  So the questions on offense will not really be answered anytime soon, unless they just stink it up when the season starts.  I just think we are not alone in our division when it comes to concerns about the shortcomings of our team, the other fans have concerns that would dispute the premature "crowning" of a division title to the iggles or gints (the msm crowing not their fans).  So my main point is that we are not alone in having legitimate concerns and can we just start the season, like right now.
