Romo Manifesto
Article in D Magazine with a perspective on Romo viz-a-viz comparative history and expectations. Found the link in a DMN comment for a pretty good David Moore item that argues, refreshingly, that Romo's greater success will come from experience - not who he isn't dating or his 'off-field decision-making.'
If this has been referenced earlier, sorry for the miss, but I thought it was worth posting

Awesome article
and it couldn’t be true. Romo isn’t that experienced in terms of being an NFL qb. Sitting on the bench and practicing cannot compare to actual regular season game experience.
The more he plays, the better he’ll get. The sky is the limit for #9.
In Romo we Trust
stupid article....
if you measure Aikman by td/int, then you dont understand much about the real NFL game.
sure, sure, offense sells tickets. gunslinger qb’s make highlights, ya like the excitement of the long bomb, yak yak yak
ya keep talkin bout romo like hes a 2nd yr guy who came out after a brilliant junior year. the guys been starting in the league for years. he was a back up for years. he used up his college eligibility. his ‘lack of playoff success’ {{ that was being nice, i think in terms of his ‘unforgiveable failures’}} stem NOT from who he dates or where he vacations.
your ‘southlake spread’, or ‘gator spread’ doesnt work in the NFL, especially in the nfc east. in the NFL, ya must PROTECT THE FOOTBALL. ya win games by completing passes and NOT TURNING THE BALL OVER. Aikman relied on football’s surest path to success.. strong in the trenches on both sides, a strong running game, a stingy defense, AND NOT MAKING ABSENT MINDED OR GLORY SEEKING MISTAKES…
look up -- get up -- dont ever give up
