The Titans visit the Steelers in the NFL opener tonight. Then this weekend, finally, after all this time, the 'Boys will be back in action. The 2009 season is here!

I don't like the Steelers
and I still have some issues about drafting Felix the Cat over Chris Johnson. I’m hopefull this year Felix will bring it strong.
Do people just want the Titans to win because the Steelers won the super bowl? I personally hope the Steelers trash all over the Titans. 1) I never liked Kerry Collins, still remember the days when he started for the Giants.
Hope it’s a good day for Big Ben and Tomlin.

it's heartening
to see how well the Titans’ defense is playing without Haynesworth. They let him go knowing a thing or two about what he is and what he isn’t… at least I’ve been clinging to that hope.
Hopefully the Redskins signed a guy who was made to look good by the surrounded players and the scheme.

Reffing seemed terrible
Anyone else catch when in the first half, the steelers had a 2nd and 1,
got called for holding, but the refs only backed them up 5 yards?
Should have been 2nd and 11, but was 2nd and 6.
Next play, another holding call, 2nd and 16 instead of 2nd and 21, and Bennyboy completes a 16 yard pass for a 1st down.
hmmm….
that which doesn't kill you, probably hurts like hell.

Hamburger will not last the season with that O line. Just like last year- you cannot expect anyone to keep taking that kind of pounding and not get injured sooner or later.
