burn rate...
refer’s to Jerry’s anger at this point…
+1
The run game was looking good. Of course, it looks a lot better when it’s 7-3

we know their snap count
haha, you can see us jumping it perfect
Feliz says his greatest thrill was striking out Boston Red Sox DH David Ortiz, one of his heroes. Yet, when he called to tell his parents, his mother had a request: Strike out New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez, too.
"So when I did that," Feliz says, "I told my mom, 'There you go. There's your present. Don't ask me to strike anyone else out, OK?'
eh, we are still playing well
lets overcome those two stupid plays, we’re only down 6

Congrats Offense - primarily Felix and Romo - your D. just bailed your collective asses

Wow. Great play. It seems like our d is starting to read what's coming really well

just what i was thinking - how unbelievably fortunate we are....HUGE game-breaking type

I always said Steve smith was the better receiver at USC, and not Jarrett
I wish we would of drafted him
He always impressed me more as well
But I still thought Jarrett could be a successful professional
"I tend to like young Latinos" -Jason Parks
never liked Mike WIlliams or Jarrett out of USC
thank Detroit every year for taking Williams over Ware
Me too. I thought he was the perfect replacement for Glenn.

Felix had better use his speed. Being subtle and tippy toe cost us 3.
Family, Friends, Cowboys, Beer & BBQ. Life is good!
this blows
we’re physically beating them, but two bad turnovers are killing us
How does Romo make those dumb plays??? Both guys were open and he threw between them
Credit where credit's due
Jenkins made a hit on that play… But I still say he should have wrapped up. Many wideouts would bounce off of that hit.
this sounds crazy
but why not bench romo for a series?
they have to do SOMETHING to make him not want to create turnovers
how can you say that??
Just cause he throws them doesn’t mean he wants to…that wasn’t a bad decision, guys were open, just a boneheaded throw…
We could very well lose the game on a Kitna fumbled snap here.
And is it just me, or is our O. line giving Romo LOADS of time to throw? If this keeps up
Romo’s gonna unleash on them (i hope)

Better drive
that third drive looked like everyone was off base.
Never wrestle with a pig. You both get dirty and the pig loves it.
this would be a great spot for a fade
except at this point thats the last throw i’d trust romo to make
Why do people say that?
Until this season they haven’t had anyone to throw a fade route to.

its not an awful point
but none of his fade passes that ive seen have been on target

Wonder if Garrett called those two plays on purpose.
the first to throw the defense off and set up that play action…Ballsy if he did.
yes....that was a mental lapse on that INT.....really stupid but he's good.
He’s gotta get rid of thos moments though…
great play
and good blocking by the oline thre! nice pass into good coverage by romo
2 trips to the red zone
Cowboys: 2 TDs

By the way
anybody hear that a punt hit that video board in preseason?
"I tend to like young Latinos" -Jason Parks
Al is a fool....
that is the only place the board should ever come close to being hit. kicking from there you’ll want to put a lot of height and not much downfield distance. The point….it still didn’t come close.
play SAFE
We have a tendency to do fluky stuff this deep (see buffalo game, Barber’s run against pats, Romo against Eagles last year)
why didn't Jerry place a track under the scoreboard for a camera to cover the action from above
as NBC and ESPN usually do
ctualy not that bad

why is felix so damn patient tonight?
just run bro

Eli is way under-endowed

If you want a creative way to lose...
giving the Giants an INT with the back of your foot may win a competition.

Every time our opponent has a "banged up" anythiing you can bet that unit will play lights out
“Banged up secondary” has 2 Ints’, meanwhile the team with “No WR’s” is running free on us.
Crap-frustrating.
Let's face it

Yeah, I love supposed fans turning on a QB who didn't force Jones's fumble

Do you disagree
you think it was a good pass?
by I_miss_Switzer on Sep 20, 2009 9:11 PM CDT up reply actions
Nope. I think bad passes happen. So does bad luck. I don't
think that means Romo sucks or should be benched or anything else. why don’t you run around and pick on T-New for a while?
What does T-New have to do
with the fact that that was just a terrible pass.
A cornerback sucking doesn’t excuse the fact that the guy you lust after just crapped the bed against our division rival.

I don't need a scapegoat
don’t be so defensive.
It was a bad pass.
You obviously want to scapegoat Newman. He stunk as well.
You are the one putting it as an either or. Romo stunk, on his own, regardless of who else stunk.
If Newman had made a pick would you then acknowledge that he played poorly
by I_miss_Switzer on Sep 20, 2009 9:18 PM CDT up reply actions
I'm not scapegoating anyone. I'm waiting to see how
the second half goes. Not hysterically blaming any one person for how that went, since it was bad luck and some bad plays. Unlike you.
I am not blaming Romo
and show me where I solely laid blame at his feet. I am saying his performance was poor and the pass to Whitten weak.
Do you disagree and in what ways?
by I_miss_Switzer on Sep 20, 2009 9:22 PM CDT up reply actions
Way to ignore the question
Nice job of manning up and ignoring the facts.
Why not support and defend you assertions?

Don't ever tell me what to do
ever.
And you made no relevant points.
So you agree the two interceptions were costly and weak?
Do you also agree they have nothing to do with Newman?
Do you also agree you are the one who brought Newman’s play into this discussion?
by I_miss_Switzer on Sep 20, 2009 9:29 PM CDT up reply actions
Oh, yeah, and talk to me about manning
up when you use logic instead of cheap shots to make your arguments.
I shouldn;'t have said that
and I apologize and own it,

yes
what i wonder is why he didn’t plan to throw the ball into Witten’s hands.
get a grip?
I have a grip. I’m gripping the remote control watching Romo yuk it up out there like he’s Quincy Carter. He threw two pick sixes, buddy. Remove your lips from his jock and take a look around.
soo many of them are freakin weird
he has 15-20 plays a season that just make you go wtf?? they’re both good and bad, but its ridiculous
The play was weird
but it’s ok to admit that was a poor throw from Romo too
"I tend to like young Latinos" -Jason Parks
yea
its unbelievably unlucky, and goes down as a bad throw by romo, but in no way is missing a guy whose wide open a “poor decision”

dominating, except we have jacque reeves. Then GIants turned it around in second half
Odds are
the Giants pick it up. You can only borrow so much for so long

although i expect their defense to get more pressure
Cause we really killed them
The Giants are a good team
you can’t give this much to good teams.
Incidentally, good teams don’t gift points like the Boys just did

odds are
we also get our fair share of lucky bounces
Feliz says his greatest thrill was striking out Boston Red Sox DH David Ortiz, one of his heroes. Yet, when he called to tell his parents, his mother had a request: Strike out New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez, too.
"So when I did that," Feliz says, "I told my mom, 'There you go. There's your present. Don't ask me to strike anyone else out, OK?'
Cowboys will settle down in the second half.
They just need to quit shooting themselves and they will pound the Giants.

Let's take stock...we pretty much dominated on both sides of the ball...
we cut out the sloppiness and we can still win going away…remember the score last week at halftime?
but we're loosing.....
2 stupid plays from Romo…one special team miscue, and a FLO penalty…….just what we know can hurts us, just did………gotta fix those and we’ll win a super bowl with this team.
But if the Cowboys settle down and take care of business this all changes.

That I'll agree with...
I think that Dallas has been running it down their throat.

can we get a new thread going??
After Fuentes blows a save and an Angels loss to the Indians:
"Angels still in first place" - UCI Halo
"Hey you know who would have gotten those 3 outs in the 9th?
Darren O’Day." - FirebatM3
LOL
Dallas is fine. The got overenthusiastic in their first home game so far.
Jacobs has 10 rushes for less than 20 yards. This game is far from over, stop panicking.

Mistakes
2 egregious turnovers, one fluke turnover, and one boneheaded penalty on Flo.
So it begins...
Doesn't make it less boneheaded
So it begins...

These people are just freaking insatiable.
I know you are a Romosexual, but I have to agree with you tonite.

Are ya
concerned with 2 pick 6s? Wait, it’s mistakes that make him great, right?
can you imagine
where we would be if we had a four quarter qb instead of a second half qb
Question
Terry,
You have oft lauded Romo’s hard work and preparation. Shouldn’t he be a decent first half QB as well? He looked awfully half-committed so far.

How can you tell
Because he sure looked clueless on the first pick.

I hope Romo gets his accuracy back in the second half. If he does, the Cowboys should win.

2nd half
irst possession of the 2nd half will tell the story of the game we stop em we win we dont we lose
If We Can Make This Many Dumb
Mistakes and still only trail by three, I’m not feeling so bad.
It just seems like we always have to act stupid for key stretches in the first half, then go to the heroics to dig ourselves out. I’d much rather we start the games with discipline and concentration, and not to worry about whether we’ll recover or not.
