The Dallas Cowboys have identified Marion Barber’s left leg injury as a quad strain, but they’re uncertain whether it will sideline him.

Barber had an MRI on Monday, but the team has yet to release the results.

"We don’t know the extent of it," coach Wade Phillips said.

Meanwhile, Tashard Choice is ready to go should Barber miss any time.

"I’m going to be ready, man," Choice said. "I just hate to play when another dude goes down. I’d rather play with those guys. That was the best I’ve seen Marion play since I’ve been here. He looked good. He looked strong."

First one to pray that Marion is ok.

Might have been freaking hilarious if my sister didn't have Downs Syndrom.

If you actually knew any one who was mentally retarded you would be more careful how you used the accusatiion. As a general rule I find them more honest, refreshing and in tune with what is going on than anyone with an iq over 120.

quick to jump the gun there

to make slow; delay the development or progress of (an action, process, etc.); hinder or impede.

not everything needs defending

I just found it a little tasteless.

Usually, you are so much better.

I myself am included in that number more times than I care to mention.

But, back to Barber, Let him rest and give the ball to Choice and Felix. I would rather have a fresh Barber later.

Not really offended as much as I am surprised.

If you weren’t a good poster here and were just trolling I probably wouldn’t even respond to you, but like our team. Much more is expected of you.

I hope they increase Felix's role to see what he can do with 15-20 touches

Maybe Tash can get 10 or so carries

Agreed

I would love to see what we have in Felix as a “full time” back, but still keeping Choice involved. At the very least, RB was one of the few positions where our depth wasn’t an issue, and I expect that Choice/Felix will be more than capable of carrying the role.

Also, does anyone else love the Choice quote up there, and how he wants to play with them. The dude can probably start or at the very least, spilt carries for a lot of teams in the league, but he appears happy in his role now, which is great.

+1

dont rush Barber back – we need him healthy…

but i would like it if they use the opportunity to give Felix a few more carries – specifically, i would like to see them using Felix on screen passes and pitches…get him in space on the outside

the Barbarion will be fine

you guys have the luxury to hold him — if there’s any question about his recovery — against the Panthers if you want with that 3-headed beast.

You play to win the game!

he claims it's fine

and says he’s 100% to play against TB… this galls Tom Coughlin & team who like to keep mum… anyway they say it’s still being evaluated. Looking at the, i’d say it’s gotta be a dislocation or sprain… we all hope it’s nothing because he is our Defense’s best impact player, our D-Ware. Sometimes these shoulder issues turn out to be related to the rotator cuff and can nag for a long time. I know I hurt my shoulder lifting like 8 years ago and I can still feel it tweak sometimes.

You play to win the game!

Ok I'm watching this game again and

how the hell did we lose? I know the turnovers but our O-line is absolutely demolishing their D-line.

You answered your won question

the turnovers…. ugh. Now, onto the Pante… I mean Panthers.

I find it interesting that Fox is still using a nearly 50/50 split with Williams and Stewart. And we can’t forget about their rookie Mike Goodson (aka Reggie Bush light).

geeeeeeezzzzz

If they didn’t keep score this was an ass whoopin! Romo is fine, right at half Romo hits Williams with just seconds left right at the goal line, and Williams puts two hands on it and it pops out! That is an awesome throw and Williams didn’t catch it.

1) I have watched that throw to Williams on the slant again and again and I think the ball slips out of his hand, Williams is Wide open and the Safety is out of place to make the tackle, Williams could have ran a long way.

2) bad throw crazy hack a sack play.

3) Mind lapse for Romo, that hapopens to everyone some.

We have a good team, we have a good QB. The defense is wanting but it really isn’t that bad.

This is why Dallas has "3" good RB's

Ummmm 'scuse me but .....

Why are we not starting Felix Jones?? I mean, nothing against TChoice, he’s a good ’un but I think we would ALL agree that FJ is the better rb right?

Get well soon Barbarian.

You guys are all right though Felix is one cool customer…just gotta hang onto the ball on kickoffs!
