McNabb's 'Rock Band' performance pregame
So what did everyone think of McNabb taunting walking down the field level bar pregame last night? Playing his air guitar and running over to bang on the glass? I find it so fitting he would act like a choad because that's the only way Philly knows how to act. Just feels great to know that The Bash Bros(93 & 94) and co. pulled the plug on his little amp!!! hahaha
Now onto Minnesota!

I thought it was hilarious.
And even though he had trouble hitting his throws, I thought he played as well as he could against our defense. There must have been 4 or 5 plays where any other QB would have been sacked. The guy is a great QB and if the Eagles don’t retain him, they’re crazy.

I take far less offense...
from a guy like Donovan having a little fun pre-game than from, say some hotshot receiver talking smack in the week up to the game, or some schmuck staffer videotaping himself spitting on the star the week before the game.
Donovan has been an absolute Cowboy killer over his career and has done it, for the most part, with class. Does anyone remember the 14 seconds he had in the pocket a few years ago?
+1
If it was someone like Brandon Jacobs or Jackson doing that, then I’d have a problem. But Donovan is a person I definitely respect and actually found his act to be kind of funny. What better way to show how loose you are then to prance in like a rockstar? Lol. Glad that didnt help them at all though.

LOL
McNabb for the most part carries himself with class, I don't know why anyone would take offense to some air guitar
I think McNabb has taken too much crap from Philly fans from the very beginning. So of course the guy has attitude.
I would take him as our back up to our back up any day of the week. If Romo and Kitna both go down, I would love having McNabb on our team. He would be a great 3rd string option. Let the man play some air guitar, he gets so little joy from his real job.
i actually said when i saw the walk ins...
that he mustve been nervous as hell, because that was the type of fake ‘let me act like i’m carefree’ BS that cowards do. there was nothing to take offense to, i just thought it was a sign of things to come, and his first throw landed in the dirt 3 feet in front of the target…
and the rest was history

coward?
McNabb has owned the Cowboys through the 2000’s. He’s an incredible competitor, a genuinely nice guy and a class act on the whole.
Why the F do you care how he behaves when he’s psyched and pumped up? How do you attribute some special “meaning” to his antics? How do you know a Cowboys player wasn’t doing something equally immature or silly?

yeah, because I'm making up the impression we all have of him
i know… because they showed both teams entering the stadium.. and the only ones that didn’t look focused were McNabb and his errand boy that was trying to pretend he was part of the air band too.
are you serious? he’s a clown and he looked like he was trying to psyche himself up before the game by pretending to be loose. If you have ever taken a credit hour in psychology or sociology you’d be far from disregarding what i’m saying.
now enjoy the next 8 months on the couch.

i'll ask you again
why does it offend you that mcnabb played air guitar as he bounced out of the tunnel? Why do you care?
I guess your one credit hour at the community college makes you an expert and able to judge all behavior from 3-second bytes through your tv. You’re right. Butch Johnson and Ray Lewis and Billy White Shoes Johnson and TO and Mark Gastineau and Miles Austin are all also cowards because they too are overly demonstrative and celebratory and OBVIOUSLY psyche themselves up to pretend to be loose.
The couch?
philly
played scared… they knew Dallas was better. I always have respected McNabb & i think philly fans don’t appreciate the things he does for them, he’s usually a class act.
I don’t care if he played the guitar or smacked the glass, but it just seemed like the wrong thing to do before you get on the field, you’re the leader how about just looking focused and looking confident.
Texas Stadium has a hole in the roof so God can watch his favorite team play football.
LMAO-- sooooooo what your saying is that McNabb was loose and ready to play a good game?
your failing… your team lost. they got manhandled, trounced and everything their fan base thought they knew… they were wrong about.
now take a seat on the couch and watch us next weekend.

I didn't know which was worse...
That stupid entrance last night or his lame moonwalk, MJ knee whip when he scores a TD.
Drinking the Blue Kool-Aid since 1980. "Ohhhhhh yeeeaaaaahhhh!"
yes everything he does just looks awkward. i don’t like the guy.

i just think mcnabb was nervous when i saw that i knew exactly then and there that
were were in a good spot.
He's a jerk
That was acting because he was so nervous. He was trying too hard to make it look like he wasn’t. Oh, but he knew what was coming. And all you philly fans on here acting like Dallas fans and saying,"Oh Donovan is a class act yadda, yadda- " BS!!! He’s an Eagle NUFF SAID!!
I dont think Nervous or Coward is the right word. It was just absolutely cocky. Even ESPN mocked it.
Lot of interesting feedback. I just felt that the way everything has been this past week with the Eagles employee spitting on the star pregame in week 17 and then Desean getting owned and saying the D is scared of him. I just thought it was typical Philly. I don’t care how ‘classy’ he normally is. It’s just kind of surprising how ‘sure’ Philly was all week that this was their game even though they’ve been whooped pretty good 2 times(now 3) before.
McNabb DIDNT play well. He didn’t even play decent. He barely completed 50% of his passes for 1 TD, 1 pick, 1 fumble, sacked 4 times. And Philly was 2/11 on 3rd down. That is McNabb coming up small.
Thought the air guitar was lame, and slapping the glass partition was just childish
But it didn’t surprise me that McFlabb would do something stupid.
Drago says, "We must break you!"
Kind of absurd Eagles fans are screaming for McNabb's head on a platter
The guy’s still a playmaker. Dallas’s D is just that damn good. Hopefully Philly actually grants them their wish. I would love not to have to see #5 twice a year.
I personally thought nothing of McNabb having a little fun before the game. It wasn’t a big deal. I’m pretty sure the fans knew he was just having a little fun, given their reaction.
Epic Fail since 1985
They do that every year...
This isn’t new.
That’s just them.

Yeah I think it’s pretty funny.
That’s just him though. He’s always doing things that are weird. I don’t think he’s a bad dude, or a bad QB even, I just think he’s sorta silly stupid.
