The last time the Cowboys played a Favre-led team
The Cowboys last played against Favre in Week 13 of 2007 when he was with the Green Bay Packers - and it was a game that he would like to forget. Both teams came into the game at 10-1, so it was a highly anticipated matchup.
The game started out pretty competitively in the 1st Quarter, but the Dallas pressure got to Favre in the 2nd with multiple sacks and two interceptions - both of which led to touchdowns. Favre was knocked out of the game after going 5-14 for 56 yards and two picks. He was sacked 3 times - once by Ware and twice by Greg Ellis.
It is very possible that this game spelled the end for Bret in Green Bay, because Aaron Rogers came in and led the Pack on several scoring drives to make the game competitive again. The Cowboys won 37-27, but it would not have been close if Favre had stayed in the game.
Flash Forward to this weekend. Even though the personnel are completely different, Dallas should be able to bring the same kind of pressure on Favre, plus the Cowboys secondary is better now than in 2007 and coverages should make Favre hold onto the ball long enough to make Ware, Raitliff, and Spencer salivate.

That's...
kind of hard to compare.
Different teams, but I still think Dallas should win.

Not really comparing
Just saying that Favre can get rattled by the kind of pressure that Dallas brings.

I think this could get ugly...
for Favre…it all starts with our Run D. If we can bottle up AP, I do NOT think that Loadholt and Mckinnie (spelling?) can block our pass rushers. They will have to keep Chester Taylor in to block on third, and that is great for us, as Chester could do some real damage on the RB flare and screen.
That said, I think we get 4-5 sacks and a ton of pressure on Favre. I don’t want to get cocky, but I think we have a good shot at punching the Vikes in the mouth Sunday.
I have noticed a new resurgence in Cowboy hating in 2007, which can only mean one thing- We're back.
