On the Road!
We play the Vikings on Sunday. We will either win or lose. But either way, I'm at ease.
It's not that I'm satisfied with a Wildcard round victory. I desperately want my beloved Cowboys to win number Six. But with the back to back shut outs at the end of the season, and the domination of the Eagles, I feel like we are on track. Maybe Jerry has finally figured it out. Maybe Wade can inspire these guys. Maybe Romo realizes what it takes. With that in mind, I have a sense of optimism that was lacking before.
I know we can beat Minnesota. In fact, I think we will. But if we don't, we finally have our "car" out of the ditch and back on the road. You can't win the race in the ditch... but on the road, that's another story.
Here's hopin' Miles catches a Hail Mary to break some Purple Hearts.

My sentiments exactly
But here’s hoping we don’t need a Hail Mary to break some purple hearts.
I don’t think we will. The Vikings have at best a false sense of confidence coming from their win over the Giants. They know the Giants had already packed it in.

Not exactly a hail mary
But an 84-yard bomb on the first play will do.

I agree
I’ve been calm ever since we beat the Saints, which is highly unusual. Normally I’m a nervous wreck come game time. There’s something about this team right now that puts my mind at ease a bit. I think it has something to do with them becoming a talented bunch with focus, as opposed to just a talented bunch expecting to win because they’re more skilled than their opponent.
Well…Ware, Ratliff, Spencer, etc. going up against a suspect O-line that’s protecting a 40 year old QB with a knack for throwing interceptions in the most crucial moments of the game doesn’t hurt either, I reckon.

Well hello there, Just reading your post and noticed my Saints being mentioned
and you are right, Obviously my Saints had you worried when we played last time ( Dec, 19). Unfortunantly we lost that one and it sill stings today but I expect your Cowboys to prevail over the Vikes and send Favre home for the season. That will then set time in motion again and when we disperse the Cardinals, GUESS WHAT……………..Your Cowboys and my Saints will meet in the NFC Championship game to represent the NFC in the SUPER BOWL. Ain’t that exciting………………………….Now, the problem being, we will have all our starters back and play on a level field with something at stake for both teams. (Unlike the last meeting when we had won our division and ya’ll were scratching to win a wild card spot) This time it will be for all the marbles, winner take all……………………………I cannot wait.

Now cut him some slack
It took him four weeks to come up with that masterpiece. Don’t expect him to come up with something original that quickly.
Actually, three weeks, but thanks for the" Masterpiece" compliment.....
I compose them all the time………. If you win Sunday, I will be back to do you some more. NFC championship game is worthy of some major trash talk and I hear ya’ll are the best at it from the Eggles and the Vikies lately so I feel I am up to the challange to represent my Saints as a formidable adversary.

Except that you are terrible at talking trash.
You might think you are but you are not smart enough to be a smartass.

Thanks, you are one of my favorites too
I think both our teams need to be on their game this weekend but if it does play out that we both win………………It’s on like Donkey Kong. Cannot afford to stumble this week to make a rematch possible. I personally am looking forward to it as No other game would make me any more excited.
I will be rooying for my Saints Saturday and your Cowboys Sunday. If that happens…………….It would make my season even more enjoyable.

What exactly does "rooying" mean?

Dallas should be ok with the noise factor
It gets pretty loud at Texas Stadium right?…anyone get the joke?
when our team has the ball in the redzone
the crowd is supposed to be quiet but that`s when they`re the loudest, when Romo waves his arms to try to silence them they make even more noise.
