It's all just a little bit
of History repeating. That song is going through my head and it's the Cowboys who have put it there.
I'm remembering back to 1991 when the Iggles kicked our tails like we owed them money. Aikman sacked like 10 times. Then we squeeked by them with Burlein at QB. Next we get clobbered by them on MNF in 1992. We follow that up with a solid victory at Texas Stadium. We then had to meet them again in the Playoffs. They still acted like they could bully us around. But we slapped them down like the whiny little scuzbags they are.
This is starting to feel like that. Before, I was always very apprehensive about Philly games. They seemed to be able to bring out the worst in us. But it is looking more and more like the roles have reversed and we are assuming the role of dominator.
I don't anticipate another shut out against them, but I think our D is getting so salty that my "fear" of the Eagles is quickly drying up. Sure we could lose to them, they have considerable talent. But their scheme is so feast or famine and our front seven so strong, that I don't think they will be able to do it.
Kick their ass again Cowboys, then roll on through the Super Bowl!

I think it would be safe to assume that neither one of these teams fear each other
I think dallas put that to bed the 1st time they beat them, it gave them confidence to get over their fear due to last year’s violation in philly. Last weeks game gave dallas confidence that they can play with the iggles on any game on any day, the only thing left for these two teams this season is to decide who is going to win this game. Will the iggles find some of that old magic and slay dallas or will the cowboys use their new found confidence to turn the tables on the iggles and kick them out of the playoffs. Man I am glad this game is on saturday I did not want to wait for sunday; because if dallas wins I can soak it in on sunday instead of trying to get through work on monday after a sunday game.

I don't think that there is fear on either side.
However there has to be concern on the Eagles sideline.
Offensively they haven’t scored a TD on Dallas since the third quarter of week 9.
Both games McNabb hasn’t made it past 230 yds passing, and defensively they let Romo put 300 yds. on them each time.

Yeah their offense has to be concered and they may be pressing next week. If dallas Def can cause them to press
they could make a few mistakes that end up in fumbles or interceptions.

Fear
I’m not suggesting the players feared the Eagles, I’m saying I had great apprehension about the Cowboys matching up against the Eagles.
I think our D can play their O to a stalemate
But our O can take advantage of their D. If we hold our own in ST play, we should eke out another win. But it’s going to be close – no blowout
Always be more than you appear and never appear to be more than you are
