A FELLOW COWBOY FAN NEEDS YOUR HELP!!!

It's nothing like life or death, but it's still a bitch.

I'm currently in the Middle East, nine hours ahead of Eastern Time. The channel ESPN North America is showing the Cowboys playoff game live at 5:00 am. I wanted to record it and watch it tomorrow, BUT of all the motherloving times it had to do this, ESPN has vanished from my cable!! Of course in this part of the world tech support pulls random dates out of nowhere. They told me four days ago it would be back "tomorrow." Two days ago they said it would be back today. Today they said "hopefully tomorrow." I'm thinking there's some kind of contract dispute they're not letting us in on.

Ok, that sucks. But hey, I can still get NFL Game Pass online.

Wrong.

It doesn't effing work. I gave Roger Goodell 25 bucks for a week pass to watch two playoff games and when I click on the button to start watching it takes me right back to the same page. Game Pass allows you to watch games dating back to the beginning of the 2008 season, so something should be there even if I'm not watching a game live. NFL.com doesn't list ANY phone number to call, the only way you can contact them is through email (which I've sent them to no reply yet) and chat, which I waited 20 minutes for an operator to come by only to be directed to a page that says their offices have just closed.

My alternative is to go to bed now, get four hours of sleep, wake up and hit up justin.tv for a live feed of the game but hell, does the NFL let playoff games slip through the cracks illegally?

Of course, seeing as I've spent 25 dollars I'd rather get my money's worth and watch it online, y'know? I mean I know it's not the end of the world if I don't see the Cowboys play but crap I dedicate 16 Sundays more or less to this team and I just want to see it through. I know you all understand and I apologize for making this a fanpost rather than a fanshot but fanposts get more replies and I need HELP from anyone, especially if that anyone has experienced this bullcrap from NFL.com and worked their way through it.

You need to get a slingbox in case you get deployed again. I have done a deployment and an overseas tour and the slingbox has gotten me through both…

To make sure everything works

download streamtorrent and sopcast now.

JustinTV has viewer limits overseas, and you may be have to refresh every 30 seconds or so. This is also true for all the other sites carrying a justinTV feed.

you will find other feeds on myp2p.eu. And the sure bet is either a streamtorrent or sopcast link. They will work, albeit with a delay of anything from 10 seconds to a minute.

Instead of watching the game you should rent Dances with Wolves, and the movie film Australia. Also, the show Ace of Cakes is really good. Also watch paint dry!!!
