In Hindsight, a certain penalty might have been better

Rob Bironas in that last game made the mistake of kicking the ball out of bounds which always places the ball at the 40 yard line. Just thinking after the game, maybe that would have been a better call after we scored the last touchdown. That BS penalty backed us up 15 yards, out of Buehler's Range for getting a touchback. The way I figure, someone is typically going to get a 20 - 25 yard return on a kickoff. Buehler kicked it to the 15 yard line or so on that kickoff so you have to figure if we could have covered it, then it would have been @ the 40. I might be crazy, but maybe in that situation it would have been a good idea to just kick the ball out of bounds and give it to them at the 40. At that point that is pretty much your touchback spot. Either that or see if a surprise onside kick or a floater down field that could be recovered like an onside kick would be an idea. The only reason I see to actually do a kickoff in that situation and not at least kick it out of bounds is if you REALLY think that you can get a turnover or just get the ball back on that same kickoff. I want to know what you guys think.
