PrintThe current status of the CBA gives us a rare opportunity.
Players can be traded with less salary cap impact and as a result we have seen more players traded this year than any year I remember (or maybe it just seems that way).
Why don't we put everyone on the team except Ratliff and Ware on the block. ALL OF THEM.
Get a bunch of draft picks and start over like an expansion team.
What do we have to lose?
We have lots of good players, but very few winners.

Jerry would squander picks . . . just like he has done since the Walker train robbery. We are approaching two decades of futility . . . time to hire a GM
Because it is not the troops
It is the Commander in Chief; fire the GM and hire a new GM; give this person a ten year contract . . . and turn football operations including draft and free agency over to this GM; let the GM hire the HC and the coordinators.
