So for a couple years now we've been ooo-ing and ahhh-ing at our talent at running back. And I, for one, thing the hype is for real. But what about Jason Garrett? Why is it that we have a first & goal at the 6 yard line, with a back-up quarterback, and we throw 4 passes? Why is it that we couldn't throw TC out there? Are you telling me that Tashard wasn't hyped up enough to get 6 yards on 4 tries?
I understand our o-line is aging and isn't what it used to be, but we have some backs that can make things happen. But Garret would rather trust a back up that has no significant playing time in a year to throw the ball. And what happened? Three of the four passes sail out of the back of the end zone.
I'm so sick of RedBall thinking he can out smart everyone. If we've learned anything this far through the season it's that the cowboys do have some talent, but they are not breaking any IQ records here. Let's get back to basics. You get four downs from the 6 yard line, with those three backs to choose from, you run the ball.
In a game like that there are a lot of things to hate....but that one really stuck out at me.
