Dez the Natural, Igor the Moron, Scandrick aka Jacques Reeves Version 2.0

Well I have to say this. First let me give you a rundown of my history. Many dont know me on here, but I am bluesilvermagic on www.dallascowboys.com. My dad grew up a Cowboys fan in the 60's and I was born a Cowboys fan in 1984, all I know is blue and silver. Last night Orlando Scandrick aka Jacques Reeves version 2.0 made me sick. I saw a horrible CB who gave up 2 ugly TD's, I said he sucked and he was dead to me. I was called a hater on www.dallascowboys.com by a fan on there. Doesnt make me a hater because Scandrick sucks. I wanted to give a rundown of some things I noticed last night.

ok I start with some good, my favorite player Dez Bryant. 93 yard punt return for a TD, really exciting energized I thought the team, but the defense wasnt stepping up, they quit. I saw Dez hustle every play. I saw Dez give everything he has. I saw a kid who loves the game of football. Dez Bryant is on the verge of becoming a superstar in the NFL, he just needed a breakout game which he had.

Now lets get to the worst part of last night for me. I start with Orlando Scandrick aka Jacques Reeves version 2.0. Orlando has 1 career INT, that came last year vs the Falcons. So I ask everyone, what has Scandrick really done here since his rookie season? I say nothing at all. He has not improved his skills, and never ever looks back for the ball. He is the worst CB ive seen in a long time, who plays a prominent role on the team. He is Jacques Reeves all over again, which is awful. Scandrick was on Hakeem Nicks, Wade I ask you why? Can you explain that to me? Why was Scandrick on Steve Smith? Wade I ask you why, both TD's where Scandrick got smoked, then never NOT ONCE turned around to look for the ball to make a play on it. Why was Gerald Sensabaugh covering Nicks one on one? Why were there NO CB'S IN THE GAME AT ALL ON THAT PLAY? I saw Gerald Sensabaugh whiff horribly on Manningham's TD, he went flying into the sideline to hit nothing, all Mario had to do was just step to the side, very easy. I saw Sensabaugh whiff at Brandon Jacobs, he always goes for these leg tackles which he never makes, Harvin he had his hands on him by the feet, gone TD, Jacobs gone TD, there were others too this season. Sensabaugh is a joke, Scandrick is a joke. They both are awful.

What happened to our pass rush? Ware was chip blocked and doubled the whole game, so I expected him to not break many blocks for sacks. Spencer disapeared that game, he vanished into thin air, amazing because he was great last year. Ratliff had a few nice plays but was a focus of the Giants gameplan like Ware. Spencer on the other hand was awful, he had one on ones and did nothing.

Why did we not kick a field goal instead going for it on 4th down? Wade is a moron, he really is. Im sorry he is just stupid and clueless and knows nothing about being a head coach. Also if Austin catches that TD and we kick that field goal that game could of been alot different, even that onsides was great twice just ball bounced the other way,sometimes thats all it takes.

Now this was the most embarrasing moment of the night for me. Igor Olshansky, who is actually a decent player but I want him to hit the door with Wade at the end of the year. Down 18 pts our defense stops Bradshaw for a 1 yard loss. Down 18 pts, being torched all night Igor does some sort of kick and fist bump celebrating a 1 yard loss on 1st down. Shaun O'Hara the Giants starting Center yells and it can be heard "LOOK AT THE SCOREBOARD" then points to it. Same series another Bradshaw stuff, Igor again is celebrating like its a sack or we just got a turnover or the game is actually close. Its embarassing, O'Hara again yells and almost goes after this moron Igor. Igor was then benched after that series, I wonder why. I also saw DeMarcus Ware walking to the sideline shaking his head like wtf is wrong with this stupid Russian. Then I read today Igor did the same thing in San Diego, and his teammates became sick of him they thought he was a joke. That was the most embarrased Ive been in a long time, watching some no name Russian dirtbag DE celebrating like its the Super Bowl, but is down 18 pts and your defense already quit.

Sorry but Scandrick Sensabaugh and Igor are f'n jokes. Sensabaugh is the worst starting SS in football. Scandrick might be the worst #3 Nickel CB in football.

Dez Bryant is a star, he is my favorite player and last night I saw a star player who can make impact plays but also goes hard and gives 100 percent every play, every down. Last night Boley had a clean hit, guys it was a clean football hit. I saw a New York Giants TEAM, not a bunch of talented guys without a coach, I saw a team with a great DC a great OC and a great Head Coach, I saw a physical well coached team. Shout out to the Giants, I respect how they played except for Eli being a moron and throwing the ball when they should of kept running. When a team that good beats us, I gotta give credit where its due even though it makes me sick to say it. Guys we get a real head coach some CB's and S's a good OL this team will be right back, but not with this current coaching staff.

I have said since the end of last year

That Scandrick is the worst nickel corner I have ever seen. He never makes a play on the ball b/c he is never even close to being in position to make a play, he is always 2 or 3 steps behind in man, and can’t play one for sh-t. I’m glad somebody finally noticed. Scandrick is so terrible it’s pathetic. I really do not understand how he stays on the field there is no way anybody could be any worse, we might as well try somebody else out. Sense is mediocre and we knew that. Ball is mediocre and we knew that. in fact every player on our defense besides Ware,Ratliff and maybe Jenkins and Spencer are mediocre.

This is a mediocre team on offense – the o-line is terrible. Our running backs are mediocre. QB/ TE/ WR we are set, but who cares when you cant block for the pass or run the ball?

but nothing pisses me off then watching scandrick get burned week after week… watching him play summarizes this season for me. can’t wait to see who gets the boot, hope there are huge changes.

Texas Stadium has a hole in the roof so God can watch his favorite team play football.

1 career INT and I didnt have to google it I remembered the play from last year vs the Falcons
I bet almost any Cowboy fan would not know when his 1 career INT came from because he never makes plays

Butler McCray Church Akwasi James Spears Brent Lee can all be kept, they are good players, but everyone else and I mean everyone else on that defense can say goodbye, hey Brooking Sensabaugh Scandrick are all Wade guys, they can leave with him
Ball I think would be a really good #3 CB, thats just me
he was in the right spots last night and at our slot corner he played well the last year
its just not a place to put him in FS, at CB Ball can be a solid player we can keep

disagree on ball,he’s shown no awareness or ball hawking skills .
if we used him as the 3rd CB then i think we would be swapping one “dud” for another(scandrick).

Dez is a superstar, Miles is a superstar, Roy is playing like that WR from Texas again
Felix is our RB for the future
Romo will win comeback player of the year next year watch
Witten is still one of the best but is falling off a little
Free will be a Pro Bowl RT imo, idk if he is a true LT I love Doug Free but speed rushers smoke him like pot at a reggae concert
Phillips is the future at TE, cant wait to see him next year
Choice could be Felix’s change of pace and short yardage guy
Garrett is very confusing, I love him at times
but he calls these conservative games, waits til were losing to air it out and we lose by like 6 pts every game
Garrett has alot of potential imo he just needs to open it up early and stick to things that work
I actually like Garrett he is smart young creative and has balls he is ice cold and is not a yes man
but he is so off the wall idk if he will be here
Columbo is still very solid, very consistent and mean streak love that guy

now lets get to the bad
lets start with Martellus Bennett, im not drinking the kool aid anymore
he is a huge bust
Jamaal Charles Jermichael Finley Charles Godfrey whoever we could of gotten Martellus is never going to be Gates-like even though he has “these skills”
im not buying it anymore, he has horrible hands, never displays his athleticism, is really stupid he never knows his assignments, always messing stuff up
he is a complete bust im sorry
Gurode has fallen off, its sad because he was great idk what happened to him, and this is huge to me
your center calls well is supposed to call adjustments and blitzes
well Kosier does that, not Gurode
Kosier is getting old, and gets hurt all the time
I love Kosier and think he is a great player, but its time to move on before its too late next year
Leonard Davis is the most disapointing player on the offense maybe, well OL at the least
talk about a Pro Bowl player, who is massive in size, but is the biggest pus** ive ever seen
no mean streak and he is stupid
we need smart football players, yeah they exist
Gronkowski I should be putting him in the bad column, that wasnt all his fault but if he is a FB on that play, your in block support for the pass, not to run a little delayed FB slant there Gronkowski

Scandrick is garbage..just horrible...

the guy has seriously regressed. We need to bring in another CB to be the 3rd and demote Scandrick to the 4th. He just stinks. At least Jerry knows that Sensabaugh isn’t worth a big money contract and should be cut at the end of the season. I don’t see anyway he is here after the season..

I think this change of philosiphy will help the team just go out there and concentrate on football (on offense). Go over and read my fanpost “what changes would you make defensively for the immediate future”…I want to hear what you think about some observations and changes I suggest. I’m not saying I’m right with what I suggest, but I am not happy with what I talk about in that fanpost about the D. I am going to write one about the offense tomorrow or the next day.

I don't know what Drago was doing out there

But it did make me laugh, and for that I thank him. I have to think it was frustration on his part and maybe trying to provoke a response from the GMen, but who knows with those crazy Russians.

Scandrick…blah, what can you say. He’s been getting worse every game. Ball should be the 3rd CB, he’s not cut out to be a FS. One team that has given Wade’s defense fits since he arrived has been NYG. I give them a lot of credit for making plays all night on the offensive side of the ball. Dallas’ only chance is to out gun them (which they didn’t), and hope for them to turn it over (which they did). But you need both to happen.

I refuse to give Scandrick

a pass because he’s on the team I root for.

He is complete garbage. I thought he was a steal in the 7th round as a rookie, now I realize he is a seventh round player, a career backup and nothing more. I’m not exaggerating when I say he has not made a play on the ball this entire year. HE IS TERRIBLE. He is always, literally always 2-3 steps behind every receiver. It doesn’t matter if the receiver is Steve Smith or some unknown player, Scandrick cannot keep up with anybody. Yes some players got beat by the giants players, but Scandrick gets beat every single game. He is our 3rd corner, meaning unless you follow dallas football you probably should not know his name, My friends who aren’t dallas fans but watch the games with me laugh every weekend at him and know exactly who he is b/c he is embarassed evrey single sunday. He is not good. I won’t ease off of him until he is off of this team.

People on this site ripped Carpenter apart b/c he sucked and never made plays. How about Scandrick? in fact I think he is worse b/c he is on the field more than carpenter and actually costs Dallas big plays every week at least barbie barely saw the field.

Scandrick is awful…. sorry.

but to be honest neither are players I would want leading this defense Just my opinion. I don’t think Dallas needs to rebuild I think we need to retool, get some young guys in there who can make a name for themselves and sign a few other goods players. problem is that’s hard to do with the CBA up in th air.

but you can’t get rid of EVERYONE.

The inside linebacker position is in real trouble if Sean Lee doesn’t develop. They whiffed on Carpenter and Jason Williams.

but, I do question the coaching he is experiencing, and therefore, because of his athletic ability, will give him the benefit of the doubt. I don’t trust the coaches enough to even make a good assessment as to whether he should be an ILB or an OLB. Wade should be able to figure it out, but I think Wade is too distracted by being head coach, and he is constantly having to worry about the offense, and I think Garrett is giving him a raw deal. so he is human and can make mistakes as a Dcoordinator you know, because he can’t really act and be a HC, because he never was great at it.

that some people take longer to develop than others…Bradie James was like that. Also, last year, he was injured for a good part of the year, so this is his first consistent year of being out there.

Jason Williams is a blitzer in my oopinion, and he is playing ILB, so right there, that may be wrong. I don’t really know enough- that is for coaches. But what coaches is our problem, really Seanrude. You may be right though- Jason Williams may be a dud. I’d like to think he isn’t.

Agreed.

I don’t think it makes us any better this year… probably worse for the time being. But I’d love to see those guys get a chance to show what they have. At the very least get some experience for next season
