The Cowboys are my team through thick and thin, and Jerry Jones is my boy. But that is where the problem starts. Football is about an attitude, a competitve attitude the Cowboys simply do not have. The whirlwind training camp is where the problem started. A training camp is where the mental edge is developed for winning football teams. Instead of pampering the players with multiple locations and lavish train rides from camp to your pre-season games they need to be finding who will fight for the team. Who will do any and everything to beat the other man or the other team. From day one this team thought that because the Super Bowl was going to be at home, they were going to be in it. The owner, GM or coaching staff did nothing to deter this belief. Mr. Jones has been a part of championship teams before and I'd be willing to bet the house that those training camps looked absolutely nothing like what the Cowboys had this year. I am looking forward to a change next season in training camp and maybe a group of competitors that find a way to beat the man across from them and not finding new and creative ways to lose each week.
