Let me first say I am a big Tony Romo fan, he has his flaws like any player but I still feel like he is a franchise-type quarterback. The Cowboys have multiple holes however and a new coach has his work cut out for him. We definitely have talent but in order to contend long term we have to get some of these holes filled (like safety and on the offensive and defensive lines). Could Romo be traded to Buffalo for the number one pick, what would we get for him and who would we draft? Time to play a little GM!
Cutler was traded for two 1s, Kyle Orton and a third rounder in exchange for Jay Cutler and a fifth rounder. Given that Cutler was younger we would not get that much for him, so what about Buffalo's first and second this year and a second next year. With those picks and our own we could draft Andrew Luck from Stanford and use the extra second and our picks to restock. The question is who would you pick and why?
