Taking a Dook On the Season, or Just How Bad Will Sunday Night Be?

Get ready Cowboys fans.

The Dallas Cowboys will be embarrassed by the Green Bay Packers this upcoming Sunday night. That's how I see it. Flat-out massacred. Honestly, I don't think a score of 50-0 is completely out of the question. With our receivers finding creative ways to screw over Jon Kitna and our defense playing like clones of Liz Lemon, I wonder if this has the potential to be the biggest shellacking the Cowboys will ever get.

Star-divide

Green Bay still has incentive to win. Their season hasn't gone as well as hoped, but they're still very much in the playoff race. The Cowboys don't have incentive. Anyone who thinks the Cowboys will pull it together and finish better than 4-12 is basing that on faith and nothing else. At this point the only thing that could possibly be motivating the Cowboys to win is the fear of being humiliated on national TV.

You know what else? Buffalo, a team just as bad as the Cowboys, got stomped at Green Bay this year 34-7. It looks like Green Bay knows how to handle atrocious teams. They won't let an easy win like this one get away from them.

You forget the Cowboys' tradition of beating teams they have no right to beat

I’m going to be the lone voice that says we dominate GB in a close one

Like Indianapolis in 06 and New Orleans in 09?

Very nice thought, but those were good Cowboys teams unlike this awful one.

Is it NFL time yet?

I feel good about this game...

when our backs are against the wall, we usually play very hard. Just look at week 3 in Houston? When this team know the have to play a complete game to win, they usually do so and when they know they can play half-a$$ and still win, that when they don’t show up.

Soooo our backs were not against the wall the last 3 weeks?

In Minny
Home against the Titans
Home against Jax

We did not “play a complete game” in any of these must win to salvage the season games.

Love the Cowboys , but this team has quit on the coach who has passed his expiration date

Sorry Grady

I have to take exception with the comment about Buffalo being as bad as the Cowboys. The Bills may not be as talented as the Cowboys, but they haven’t given up. They are still trying to win games. I hope the Cowboys start playing for pride, but alot of what I saw looked like they were just mailing it in. This makes them worse than the Bills.

Agreed

The Cowboys are in deep trouble, however they are tanking while the Bills are trying to win. They could end up winning one game this year and that would be against the Minnesota Vikings. As for us, we do have a chance vs the Packers. They always seem to play bad teams close and this game will be no exception.

I think we would lose to the Bills

so I guess that makes them better than us.

I see no point in winning anyway

At this point I am hoping for a top 3 draft pick…At least it will make this up comming draft much more interesting….

Would love to see a win....

I just dont see it happening. I will be glued to my TV sunday with beer in hand, but I dont like our odds. Maybe I can get a good line on the Packers and bet them -3 or something.

"A friend of mine who's a Giants fan"

Dude, you just lost all cred points..I keed, I keed. Seriously, I think they have a sliver of hope of a win, which will disenchant half of the fanbase who are now looking for a high pick in the draft. Is there even going to be a draft?

I started out with nothing and still have most of it left

by Benthere on Nov 3, 2010 2:12 AM CDT up reply actions

Now that I pray the season tanks for a good draft they'll probably go about winning and barely miss the playoffs

I hate this season so much, the only thing that can make it right is a top 5 draft pick.

Epic Fail since 1985
