5 things us Cowboys fans are thankful for

1.) I'm thankful for an owner who wants to win. Jerry Jones maybe a complete nut job as an owner who thinks he can be a general manager, but he does want to win. I think he has no idea how to create a winner by himself, but he tries. I guess I'm in a holiday mood. After today probably though I'll be saying "Sometimes the thought isn't always what counts, but he did fire Wade after all.

2.) I'm thankful for a new head coach. So far I'm thankful for Garrett. We're 2-0 under his command and we has instilled some discipline in this team. Huh so it just takes some yelling, some notebooks, and some practice in pads to make a talented team a winner? Well I guess so far so good.

3.) I'm thankful for a competitive team. After we were 1-7 I was ready to start rooting for losses for a nice draft pick. Which I noticed is sort of overrated. When Garrett became head coach I gave us one more chance to turn it around. Even at 1-7 I said playoffs aren't completely out of mind. PLAYOFFS?! I know it will be so difficult to make them, but I have faith. We now sit here Thanksgiving morning with a chance to beat the Saints and play the ultimate spoiler. Which I'm okay with because that means we're winning games.

4.) I'm thankful for Jon Kitna. Since Romo left for basically the rest of the season, (Maybe back within 3 weeks I say rest his collar bone.) Hes thrown 10 TD's and 1,223 yards. His passer rating is 89.7. Pretty damn good for a guy who hasn't played in 2 years. I like the throws hes making. Especially the accuracy and zip he has on the ball. With the Saints banged up secondary Kitna might do work today.

5.) I'm thankful for being a Cowboys fan. Some take it for granted that they have seen 5 or 3 Super Bowl victories in their life as a Cowboys fan. Look at me a new generation Cowboys fan. I've witnessed the bad, but I still love this team to death. Some teams haven't even made the Super Bowl. The Saints fans are today where we once were. Champions. I hope we can all witness that at least once in our lives. How funny is it our 5th thing we can be thankful for 5 Super Bowls?
