5 Cowboys made the Pro Bowl
Don't know how Gurode made it, though... I guess that you can realy make a case with the poor quality of Center play League wide...
For the other players (Ware, Witten, Ratliff and McBriar), look at my fanpost, feels good to be right.

Didn't think Ratliff would make it. Surprised that Gurode did.

I would have thought that Kevin Wms (MIN) would have edged out RAT

Gurode is a surprise
I think his selection is due to name recognition more than anything. Congrats to all of them though.
He is still a top 5 Center in the NFL
and probably grades out as the top 1 or 2 in the NFC, so I’m not really all that surprised.

yeah i think the same but he's listed high on PFF
and i guess he get in by the coaches and players votes, whom obviously know more than us, is a surprise to see gurode still in there
He's mistake prone
But he’s a pretty good Center when he’s playing mistake free… Which is more common than the opposite, but it’s easier to focus in such noticeable mistakes as bad snaps and the like…
Arnold, almost 5 years of good memories, you'll be missed.
Viva México! Go Cowboys!
Should be interesting if all of the selected QB's actually make it to the Pro Bowl.
Mike Vick can jump well and then take off running so those high snaps shouldn’t be too much of a problem for him.
Matt Ryan is 6’ 4" and athletic so he should be able to field those high ones.
I’m worried about Drew Brees. He’s only 6’ 0" and not know for his leaping ability. They might need to have O’Hara snap to him.LOL

The only pick worse than Gurode is his backup, Shaun O’Hara, who missed half the season and was God-awful when he did play. Very surprising number of Cowboys on the roster (as usual), particularly this year with the season they’re having, although I’ll say that Witten, McBriar and Ware are absolute no-brainers.
Oh, yeah, and see below: these guys got in on the strength of the player and coach vote, so
spare us the “as usual” bellyaching.
to be fair
I think players are every bit as bad as fans when it comes to name recognition voting. We played 13 teams this year, and the ones early in the season were probably going off tape of last year so I’d bet that only 6 or so teams had enough gametape to work with to review how our players were playing in the 2010 season. On top of that, Ratliff and Gurode are probably considered highly around the league. I can’t possibly see how Ratliff deserves a pro bowl bid, but Gurode may – from any objective analysis I’ve seen on him, he grades out highly.
This goes for coaches too, though I trust them to be smarter than the players.
Well, we can argue that any vote is biased; I'd argue that if you count on the sports
writers, no Cowboy will ever get another honor.
when it comes to nfl personel, not biased, just uninformed.
sportswriters on the other hand may be biased. I believe I’ve read multiple times that we deserve very little consideration in pro bowl voting because of our losing season, but that is ridiculous
Interesting
I think Ware/Witten/Mcbriar were clear cut, but I’m a little surprised about Gurode and Ratliff making it. What’s even more interesting is that all of these guys got in on the strength of the players/coaches vote, since our team as a whole was shut out by the fan voting.

Interesting to note...
We have the most “starters” if you include Matt Mcbriar…
