More trouble for Deon Anderson stemming from the Tuesday dispute.

Addison police have issued an arrest warrant for Dallas Cowboys fullback Deon Anderson on a new charge of deadly conduct for allegedly pulling a gun on a man early yesterday morning.

The charge stems from the same early morning incident in which Anderson was arrested for outstanding Irving traffic warrants.

Not looking good

RW is the opposite of WR. Coincidence? I think not.

Dumb.

I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Sad.

by danielt on Feb 3, 2010 10:54 PM CST reply actions

this guy should know better after what he went through to get into the league

I am not writing him off because of this incidence but I had high hopes for him when he was drafted yet he has not played to the elite level that we have needed. It is time to draft another fullback or sign a cheap talented veteran.

Not to thread jack but the NFL Network is replaying SB XXX and it is amazing how much Paul McGuire was on the

stillers jock all game long. It brought back memories of the MNF games he was on on how he and Theisman were just a terrible broadcasting team. I hate having to listen to him now but the fact that he has disappeared from the air waves is what makes this a little more tolerable.

Ignore the Mainstream Media, EMBRACE THE HATE!!!!

Does this mean we can maybe do away with the fullback all together?

Phillips and MartyB are both more dynamic players who are also capable of lead blocking. Do we really need a FB?

Epic Fail since 1985

Well I said that weapons charges are what would make this serious

and sure enough here you go. Deon better go talk to Jerry fast, or he might just be out of a job.

If I had a nickel for every Super Bowl the Eagles have won, I would have zero nickels.

Aw, Jerry

I wasn’t gonna shoot the guy, just pistol whip him a little bit. Cut me some slack.

Keep doing what you been doing, keep getting what you been getting.

WHAT YOU HAVE A GUN CHARGE?

Well get off this field, that’s the gun pulling field over there!
Now go! Play on the gun field and away from my team!

This cannot end well for Cricket

Plaxico Burress … Gilbert Arenas … Marvin Harrison (tbd.) … Deon Anderson?

It’s not even funny anymore.

I also hate the arrogance

Pulling a loaded gun on somebody and saying “Do you think this is funny?” as if he’s Al Capone …to a poor valet, no less. Anderson deserves the life of destitution that awaits him.

Lousaka Polite

Given our short yardage problems, this article makes me sick.

Yup

That was a bad decision

So long, Cricket

As always, let the due process of law prevail. If he’s found guilty, no more NFL for Deon Anderson. It’s sad, I really liked the guy too.

That being said, bring me some John (Wilson) Phillips out of the backfield! The guy is versatile and can block!

I don't think anybody knows the true story yet.....

A lot of people are being quick to pile on here…. In Texas it’s legal for anyone to carry a loaded gun concealed — So that is not a big deal…. If he really pulled it out on somebody and did what he is accused of — that could be a problem, but we don’t know the circumstances….

by hakrjak on Feb 4, 2010 12:26 PM CST reply actions

He is not that good of a player

so who cares about all the circumstances, this makes him more trouble than he is worth. Even if he had a stellar offseason, we need a better FB.

by Billito on Feb 4, 2010 5:08 PM CST up reply actions

You can't have a loaded, concealed gun anywhere

without a permit. Though in Texas, it’s probably as simple as filling out a form to get your license.

by DoomsdayD75 on Feb 4, 2010 5:08 PM CST up reply actions

If he was acting legally

…he wouldn’t have thrown the gun in the bushes.

by JimmyJohnson on Feb 4, 2010 5:19 PM CST up reply actions

Arrest warrant

posted on the DMN blog says he pulled a pistol on a parking attendant. Cops arrived and recovered the pistol from some nearby shrubs.

I live in Texas and I own several guns. I have never felt the need to brandish a pistol at a parking valet.

Stop making excuses for this jerk. He may not see a cell, but he needs to go somewhere and think about what it might be like to, I don’t know, maybe work for a living.

Keep doing what you been doing, keep getting what you been getting.

Thugs definitely have a place in the NFL...

The ones that stay are smart enough to not get caught.

Marc Colombo and Flozell are thugs

… ON THE FIELD. It’s good to have a few thugs on the field. Cricket is a thug off the field and a wuss on it.

Stallworth

I don’t know, they are letting Stallworth back in and they let Vick back in, Little still plays, I believe. There are many thugs in the NFL. Talent does not make you a good person, right Mike! It is a shame to see this kind of stuff, but these are guys you have had there way alot in life and for some that gets them in trouble eventually.
