New ESPN Mocks
Mel Kiper, Jr. and Todd McShay have released their third version of their mocks. The twist is they are side by side instead of individually. It interesting to see how often they agree. After the first three picks, it's sporadic at best. They also don't agree on who the Cowboys take. Mr. Kiper, Jr. has Dallas drafting Earl Thomas, S, Texas with the 27th pick. Todd McShay has Dallas reaching for Charles Brown, OT, USC with the #27 pick. I have Insider so I thought I would share. Enjoy and discuss who you would prefer. My humble opinion would to go with the fellow Longhorn.

I assume that McShay
has Thomas being picked before 27.
RW is the opposite of WR. Coincidence? I think not.
Yeah, Where does McShay have Thomas getting picked?

Hahahaha
35-0 right now.
I’m surprised nobody’s voted for Brown… Thomas is undoubtedly the better choice, but Brown’s a really solid prospect in his own right.
USC OT? Dallas got burned by one of those,
he carries another player’s stigma

No, he can't
Or at the very least he shouldn’t.
It’s insider material for a reason, you should pay for it.
Viva México! Go Cowboys!
while I agree that he can't :)
ESPN is ridiculous in the amount of material that used to be free- they make “Insider” now.
of course i can afford the 4.95 a month, but it’s the prinicipalities.
2009 BTB Part Deux Fantasy League Champion. 'Kill Everybody 13-2'. KDP knows football.
…not to mention the large number of people that ESPN has likely duped into subscribing by posting garbage “rumors” in their rumor section, like…
“Chargers interested in trading for Tashard Choice? Become a subscriber to read more.” So you pay ESPN for access only to find out that the brilliant analysis is that the Chargers cut Tomlinson and might be looking for a replacement, and since the Cowboys have 3 productive RB’s, maybe the Chargers are interested.
it's sick
when you get better free info from sites like rotoworld

In defense of Insider
I have been a huge fan of Mel Kiper, Jr. and his hair since I started following the draft in the late ‘80s. I don’t know if that sets me up for derision here, but it is the truth. So Insider has a lot of his good information and breakdowns. Plus, a lot of their better stuff has moved from free to Insider over the years. Now I can remember when everything on ESPN.com was free content, both those days are gone forever.

it's the freemium model
Offer good content for free and bonus content at cost
unfortunately for ESPN they didn’t start that way, so people focus on them taking nice things away

i think a mock draft
shouldn’t be for insiders, is not like a mock is some kind of exclusive information but whatever
Attention Candus
Stick to answering questions addressed to you, or general questions.
This question was directed to Tex., that means.. you mind your own business.
If your want or need attention I can direct some things your way (U might not like it) but just letting you know I’m ready!!!

There's something called rules
“Copying copyrighted material is out of bounds, writing a small blurb with a link for the whole article is OK.”
Threats of copyright infringement are often received due to what you wanted, apparently you don’t care about it, but I do.
You can direct anything my way, I don’t care, this is the Internet, though guys are all around…

Viva México! Go Cowboys!

If Thomas fell to 27, there's no way Dallas passes up on him
There are solid prospects to be had in the 2nd and 3rd rounds, as far as O linemen go. Earl Thomas is a playmaker. Our secondary would instantly become the thing of nightmares for opposing teams.
I wouldn’t be heartbroken if we drafted Brown, though. I’m not convinced we absolutely HAVE to get a OT that’s gargantuan. If the guy can play, he can play regardless of his size.
Epic Fail since 1985
I can't imagine the Eagles would pass on Thomas either if he was available at 24
"EFF YOU, WE'RE WINNING ANYWAY!!!!!!" (Bye, Dawk)
sorry, there is no way, that thomas will fall to pick 27
before there was law, there were the Cowboys!!!
What?!?
You think I just made up our 2005 and 2007 SB championships?
