Cowboy`s might have McCoy on their radar
yep that`s right the Cowboys might have DE Chris McCoy on their radar screens as the Cowboys were one of 22 NFL teams to attend the Middle Tennessee Pro day.
And here`s a bold new exclusive prediction...are you ready? this is big...The Cowboys will draft in rd 6 a prospect from Middle Tennessee. Now the title suggests it might be McCoy but maybe they attended the Pro day for another prospect so here are the suspects.
DE Chris McCoy 6-4
Weight: 245 pounds sounds like the perfect size for an OLB in our scheme, 7 sacks 20 tackles for loss indicates he`s a play maker and his pro day showed he`s a pretty good athlete so he should be able to contribute on special teams, he would be a project and buried on the depth chart for the time being and maybe a practice squad member.
LB Danny Carmichael Now he put on a show at the Pro day and to me with the invites of Lee and Bowman that we could be targeting ILB in rd 3 ( I don`t think they project to OLB for our D) Carmichael could be a plan B. in 09 Was second on the team with 94 tackles while setting career-highs in tackles for loss (12.5), sacks (6.5), and forced fumbles (6)
CB Alex Suber only 5 ft 9 but a 39 inch vertical jump so he`s a little guy but can get up, also he`s a shutdown corner.
Any of these guys could be of interest but which one (s).

i'm sorry
i’m fn tired of drafting defense…we need to address the offensive side of the ball early for once…

well they could always draft defensive guys late.

Lifetime Cowboys Fan from the Swamps of Jersey
i thought the same thing
and i was ready to throw garbage words against the home picks and Colt Mccoy, fortunately you didn’t mean Colt McCoy, he’s bad
I don't know how he's going to be in the pros...
but he was hardly bad in college.

I can't find any tape on Alex Suber
If that’s his actual height he’d only be an inch shorter than Jenkins and Scandrick, but it’s going to be his weight that kills him. At 165 he’d get pushed all over the place in the big boys league. He’d better start eatin’!
Anyone see any videos on the guy?
Let the chips fall where they may
at 165
the only thing he’s gonna be able to hit (and with t-newman as personal mentor) will be Dave Campo
