As a devout fan of the Cowboys, for over 20 years now, we've had our highs and lows, the highlights and low lights. Brandon Marshall was traded for a second-round pick in next week’s draft and a second-rounder in 2011 in addition to the 47.5 million contract extension that includes $24 million in guaranteed money.

Anquan Boldin was traded for fifth-round pick to the Ravens for Baltimore’s third- and fourth-round picks. He agreed to a new four-year, $28 million contract with his new team.

And then there is Roy Williams. The Cowboys will give up a first-round pick in 2009, plus a third- and sixth-rounder that year for Williams and a seventh-round pick in '10. For insult to injury, The Cowboys and Williams agreed to a five-year extension worth $45 million, including more than $20 million guaranteed.
