Schedule Maker unkind to the Cowboys
That is a brutal schedule boys and girls.
The Cowboys start out on the road and they finish on the road. In fact, our last 2 games are on the road against playoff teams (AZ and PHI).
We play MN, IND, GB, and AZ on the Road.
Our longest homestand is 2 games, our longest road stand is 2 games.
We play NO at home on Thanksgiving. That's the only tough out of conference opponent we face at home.
Anyway you look at it this is a very tough schedule. I would wager it is one of the 5 toughest in the league.

It will obviously be more difficult to be a top 2 seed
but in terms of winning the division, the difference between our schedule and the Eagles or Giants or Redskins is marginal.
Who knows how arizona, philadelphia or washington will do. All of those teams could be sub par.
Every year
Everyone complains about a tough schedule. I don’t think this is really that bad. All of the NFC Division winners are gonna repeat this year, so that means at least one of our three fellows (possibly us of course) will slump and not be as hard. Our division is always tough. Get used to it. Somebody has the play the Colts. Just be thankful you’re not the Pats who play them EVERY year. We’re gonna have to beat the Vikings at some point so we might as well get some practice when it’s not win-or-go-home. Based on our last match with them, we need a lot of practice.
I’m not worried about the schedule. We’ll either be good enough to be in the Playoffs or we won’t. I admit that we absolutely HAVE to start 3-0 or at the very worst 2-1. 1-2 or 0-3 and we are seriously cooked.
Road vs. Home is my beef
To get both MN and INDY on the road is a kick in the dick. Also, I’ve always been of the mind that if your first game of the season is on the road, the final game should be at home. So that’s kick in the dick number two.
The first part is no surprise though.
RW is the opposite of WR. Coincidence? I think not.
