The Redskins are still in the Sam Bradford Derby -- why, you ask?
- The Redskins did not require a contract extension before trading for McNabb -- he has one year left on his contract.
- Jason Campbell is young and has value around the league.
- The Rams have many needs, including QB.
- The Redskins offer Jason Campbell (plus maybe another draft choice) to the Rams to swap first round draft choices. The Rams get a young QB and draft choices to fill other positions.
- The Redskins draft Bradford to spend a year behind McNabb learning the pro game.
- If McNabb is successful with the Redskins, they extend his contract; if not, he becomes a free agent and can go to Minnesota after Brett Favre's 317th annual retirement.
- Sam Bradford is the Redskins QB of the future.
Aren't you glad I was around to clear this up? LOL, what do you think?
