McNabb Trade: Connect the Dots

Stay connected for news and updates

The Redskins are still in the Sam Bradford Derby -- why, you ask?

  1. The Redskins did not require a contract extension before trading for McNabb -- he has one year left on his contract.
  2. Jason Campbell is young and has value around the league.
  3. The Rams have many needs, including QB.
  4. The Redskins offer Jason Campbell (plus maybe another draft choice) to the Rams to swap first round draft choices.  The Rams get a young QB and draft choices to fill other positions.
  5. The Redskins draft Bradford to spend a year behind McNabb learning the pro game.
  6. If McNabb is successful with the Redskins, they extend his contract; if not, he becomes a free agent and can go to Minnesota after Brett Favre's 317th annual retirement.
  7. Sam Bradford is the Redskins QB of the future.

Aren't you glad I was around to clear this up?  LOL, what do you think?
