Matt Mosley checks with Darren Woodson regarding tackling in the Cowboys secondary
I don't see this being too much of an issue. I always thought Jenkins and Newman were very good tacklers for CBs aside from the infamous Jenkins 'ole on Brandon Jacobs (I think that was Jenkins) and I don't think there were too many plays last year where we had people running crazy in the secondary. I'm one of those people who only watch the games once though, so maybe my impressions are a little skewed.

Meh
they don’t hit like Woodson… but I don’t see RB’s trucking our safeties on every play either. Plus, if I remember correctly, Woodson was much more involved in stopping the run then Hamlin has been, so like Wade said it’s not such a huge glaring concern.
Semper Fi Do or Die
Yes, that was Jenkins on the Jacobs ole`. He's gotten better though.
Newman has a tendency to throw himself at players ala Roy Williams da First instead of wrapping up. I hate when he does that. It’s not like he’s bringing the weight and power of a Woodson or RW I.
Other than that, I thought they did pretty decent tackling. Now, if they could stay on balance when cutting and sticking closer to their guys to make plays on the ball, I’d be ecstatic.
Rabid and luvin' it
Actually...
it was Derrick Ward

Disagree with you on T-New
Historically he’s been a very good tackler. Last season he started a bad habit of turning and throwing shoulders into guys instead of wrapping them up, but he seemed to quit doing that later in the season. And he does lay guys out once in a while.

I don't feel like our tackling in the secondary should be that concerning
considering how solid our front seven is (which is what Wade has said as well). Would it be great to put a player in the mold of Sean Taylor (i.e. great coverage safety and great hitter) back in our secondary? Heck yeah it would, but those guys are so rare that I am not going to sweat an undersized safety. Plus, consider the fact that even Hamlin didn’t tackle that well (Baltimore runs in 2008, 2007 Ryan Grant run, etc.). I am not really that worried for our run defense if Alan Ball is our opening day FS.
If I had a nickel for every Super Bowl the Eagles have won, I would have zero nickels.
Ball is also a very good gunner covering punts
which requires good open field tackling. He’s not the biggest guy, but he does seem to take good angles (more than can be said for K. Hamlin) and wraps up well for his size.
