"A trade that would send Dallas Cowboys linebacker Bobby Carpenter to the St. Louis Rams in exchange for offensive tackle Alex Barron will be finalized Monday, NFL Network insider Michael Lombardi reported. The deal is one-for-one, with no picks involved. The reason for the delay, a league source told NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora on Friday, is that the players are on opposite sides of the country and have some weekend obligations, so the easiest way to get their physicals completed, and thus finalize the deal, is to wait until Monday."
