Silly me for thinking "RW??" before hearing Wittens name
because Tony Romo already has two targets with which he’s developed excellent rapport in
Semper Fi Do or Die
Projected 2010 Record: 12-4. You heard it here first
Some good points on Dez's situation and opportunity
Although this writer’s mental model of Jerry Jones – like so many other writers – seems stuck in the mid-90’s. Good thing Jerry is so blithely accepting of any and every ‘character risk’, otherwise we wouldn’t have gotten to enjoy Randy Moss’ HOF career here in Dallas… sigh I guess Pac Man put us right back where we started.
I also haven’t seen the cocky/entitled/egotistical side of Dez that this writer purports. He has seemed nothing but contrite, humble and appreciative from every pre- and post-draft report I’ve found. This guy appears to think that Dez, while basking in his own glory (and a Jesse Armstead-style hottub) called up Deion and suggested a summit. I think the reality is much closer to Dez being lured in by Deion as part of the latter’s desire to set himself up as the NFL version of Worldwide Wes.
As to the football side of the article, it is exciting that Dez is set up to perfectly take advantage of his strengths. He’ll be in position to devastate single coverage from the opponent’s #2 or nickel corner, go get jump balls that will help us shore up last year’s shoddy red zone scoring, and provide some juice to the return game – all while polishing up the route-running skills that will let him evolve into a true #1 wideout.
Aye, I haven't seen Dez as a diva either.
In the few interviews he’s always been as you describe well. Another case of a writer just going on his own assumptions?
And this

It is indeed.

Saw of vid of Dez going up against Newman in OTA's
Dez put a move on, and blew away from Newman. He dropped the ball though. He was definitely giving it everything he had, and just got a little out of control trying to get to the ball. The thing that impressed me though, was when he broke away from Newman, he didn’t just get open, he exploded away from Newman. He’s going to bring real energy to this team.

This is ridiculous. Dez is of low moral character, a brigand and a villain and a blackguard, and strangles puppies while they sleep.
You are beyond delusional if you think otherwise. I for one will turn my back every time he takes the field.

I just wish we could trade for Jonathan Baldwin next year.
Him and his three criminal charges would totally be better for this team than the low-character Dez Bryant.
If I had a nickel for every Super Bowl the Eagles have won, I would have zero nickels.

A comment I didn't really get about Sergio Kindle....
Kindle will be used as a blitzer, rather than as a pass rusher, in that scheme.
Have I not know the definition of blitz for the last 20 years?

I guess I didn't either.
