The Cowboys have been working almost exclusively on punt coverage units during special teams drills. The bottom line on David Buehler (and I quote Raf): "[N]othing matters about Buehler until preseason." :)

I think it goes without saying that this team is so much better off if Buehler can handle the field goals as well as the kick off duties.
I would hate to release someone like an extra ILB or OL just to bring in another kickers.
I mean we lost out on Matt Moore a few years ago trying to push him waivers.
But i would hate it even more if we lose a game for a missed field goal because we gave him a shot…

to be able to save a roster spot is always a positive thing in case of injury or values of the player that would be released, just wonder how long they would go if he starts to struggle like Folk did last year?
