This is a list FO is looking to join this year.
Football Outsiders is clearly angling to be mentioned in the TMQ annual Bad Predictions Review. Hey any publicity is good publicity right?
Maybe Barnwell should take a cue from this column by Gene Wojciechowski and poke a little fun at himself when the predictions go wrong: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/columns/story?columnist=wojciechowski_gene&page=wojciechowski/100209&sportCat=nfl

Calling for FO to shame themselves at the end of the season if their projections go wrong is fine and good. But if Barnwell is right (and as a disclaimer, I personally don’t agree that the Cowboys are a 7-win team), are you going to write a public “Barnwell was right, I was wrong” piece at the end of the season and apologize for doubting him? Probably not, right?
Formerly Bye, Dawk :(
If the Cowboys win 7 games or less, I will write that column.
Meantime, I’m saying that a little humor n looking at some outlandish predictions of the past would go a long way to take the sting out of some people’s barbs towards him. I’m certainly not asking him to “shame himself”.
Does it really make sense to you to predict that the Chargers AND the Saints AND the Vikings AND the Cowboys are all going to .500 or less? That’s what FO is saying.
That column was pretty funny

They were mentioned for last season...
Reader Alfred Wallace of St. Louis notes the Football Outsiders Almanac 2009 picked the Rams as its “surprise team” to make the playoffs, saying, “Many statistical indicators suggest that the Rams are close to rising again.” St. Louis finished 1-15, worst in the league.
